How often do they usually occur? Every four hours?

A little less than, actually.

I usually see it reset at about 3hr 53min. I mostly say this because it never seems to be at the same time every day, or every other day.

That's probably just the sidebar on this site. It's not real time and refreshes like every 3 minutes or so. It's always been in synced in-game from what I experience. It's 4 hours on the mark every time except for updates and crashes.

3 hours and 53 minutes is right, actually, to my knowledge. We round to 4 hours.

actually, we got 7 extra miniutes sometime in the past making it exactly 4 hours.

Yes, it is exactly 4 hours after the split, if nothing odd happens.

Yups. No more silly 3:53 resets.

I am happy. The 3:53 is still in my internal clock, whcih means I got 7 extra minutes to upload my fixes in time.

You can refresh the page and it will show the actual time that it's been since the last reset, rather than waiting for the three minute refresh.
