There was an incident where a mage rused me, and 4 companions into a tomb. It was a general patrol with mixxed company, uneventful until we went into the tomb, and foudn out Jinxy was the only one who could open the doors or disable traps, and she did this well, and we got to a room with 4 chest, one containing a special hat, the other three being instant doom for us all. As we stood there, trying to figure it out, a man desided to impulsively open one, lucky it had the hat in it, made out of bread. The mage let us keep it, and said we could share it and such, but the man tried to keep it, and jinxy wanted it. So the issue, it lead to them argueing over it, and Jinxy got mad, shadow dazed the green man, who seemed to be a construct of some sort, so the other, an Illithid who shifted into an elf, gripped her up, along with the green man. Being as I know Jinxy as a common person at Bendir Dale, when the Illithid had her, I assume to suck her brains, I desided to act, and killed the man and construct. Later, I saw the Illithid in elf form being taken into the grove hurt, so I do not know what to think of this, and feel it important to report.

Fellow Bendir Dale citizens, I captured a Cyrist outside our gates, and brought him in for interrogation. Key notes of conversation.
-Big man, with tan and black armor, big axe, named Hayge Shannahan
-Was in Bendir Lands, openly wearing a cyrist amulet.
-Was aided by an Orc who calls himself the warlord, though he wasn't hostile, and tried to bribe me.
-Cyrist leader is a one eyed man named Vaylek.
-When asked why the amia fronteirs have been suffering the Cyrist lately, he responded "Because the Dale shall fall."

Two members of the Eternal Order indentified as Sharina Fryar and Richard Manson have arrested the drow named Izzy Torrowfire inside the dale. The meeting room inside the Town Hall has been damaged by fire and what seems to have been a small storm of acid and lightning. Not much later the two dissapeared into the night with their prisoner.

A silent hin is seen more and more often around Bendir. He speaks rarely, but if he does, he usualy starts asking riddles from everyone. He usualy wears olive green leatherish clothers, olive/green helmet and cloak. Sometimes a feral looking black panther is being seen walking by his side.

For past day, Ethrolian has been seen sitting by a comfy fire with Lipta and Johanna near the mill. He doesn't seem to be so quiet anymore, and many who passed by saw and heard how fun they had, answering Eths riddles.

Anyone who took any closer look on Eth, noticed quite some wounds in his face, that had not yet fully healed. He's skin is very plae, especialy in the fires light. This hin has been underground for a long time.. Sometimes he falls to a somekind of trans-state, thinking about something and jsut staring to emptyness.

Shortly after, various hin are urged into the meeting room for repairs.

Willow is seen exiting the room with a bloody hand and in a -very- angry mood. She storms toward the garden and seems to disappear as the ground opens and she enters.

a new comer to this isle seems somewhat settled in Bendir and can be occassionally met around the area. He quite openly explains to anyone in a pleasent manner that he is a Light Bearer of Garl Glittergold and that his name is Gimble ...

last week he was attacked by 3 Hin Bandits, Brothers on the road to Cordor, after dispatching them they later ambushed him and left him for dead. he reports this to the bar keep and asks to have the militia informed

A drow male approached the cgates and spoke quietly with a hin that stood next to a large dragon. After a couple minutes the two walked into town. The drow wrote a quick note handed it to the hin and left quickly through a portal. Anyone that saw him would not recognize any symbols or markings.

I am trying to organize an event, called a Run. It is one of the Eilistraeen festival. I would like to know if you would like to participate on being one of the people we visit with food and service in order to learn songs of the hins and dances and even festivities.

We would offer to have a dance where they show us new songs, dances and even sword play.

If there is no elves on when it is best for the Shrine people, we can do this with the Hin. I will advertise properly after we get a date.

So, we would all Eilistraeen meet at the Shrine, do the painting, the cooking and the preparation. Sing songs and dance to prepare, then we will go Winya or Bendir and offer our help and ask them to teach us songs and celebrations of their culture. Then we all, maybe even the people of the place come back to the Shrine and have a party. What do you think?

Well, Guns gave the idea of doing with both. I like it, visit the elves, party a bit, carry those who wants and come to Bendir, party a bit and take those who wants to the shrine closing the festival with a party.

Well, I have asked a DM to help and made a public post. You can Answer it there as well if you wish. I am shooting for Tuesday at 5pm CST, 6 PM Eastern, 10 PM GMT, if I converted right.

We will make our way to the elves, be killed or celebrate. Whatever they are preparing. Then we will come to you guys.

Also back in the Dale for only the second time... THE BRAWL IS BACK!!! Yes, this will be just like the good ol' days like the days of the Barnyard Brawls.

The following note is pinned to the board in the Town Hall...

As I was passing the Dale today, I noticed a scene at the top of the hill. Two Triadic Knights were harassing a woman named Amelia Tassak whose summoned golem was holding a man upside down. The knights' names were Myeri and Alaun'ssyn or something similar. They claimed they needed to take the panicked man into custody, and the woman claimed they were liars and Cyrists. After some dispute, they decided to take the man to Cordor. The woman, Aluan, ran ahead and the man stayed behind. On the way there, Amelia attacked and disabled the man. I decided to investigate after seeing suspicious behavior in the knights, so I followed the woman to Cordor.

When I arrived, she was there with her "prisoner" who was now fully armored and prepared, and another. They panicked and quickly used invisibility scrolls or other items. I ran back to the man whom they had since raised and exposed him as a Cyrist. Soon after, seven or eight Cyrists appeared at our location and attacked. I killed Myeri and two others before I was stabbed in the back.

The Cyrists won the skirmish, and kidnapped Weston Carter and Amelia's husband, Reizan. We managed to locate Reizan some time later. Because of this, I'm urging everyone to stay wary and not to trust anyone who claims to be a part of a faction you aren't completely familiar with. The Cyrists who were there were not very strong, but they had numbers.

Amelia gave me this list of names of known Cyrists to watch out for:

Willow walks by the notice, with the help of her staff, and frowns. She takes it down for a few moments, sits down with a fresh sheet of paper of her own and copies the and descriptions. Once done, she pins it back up and walks back out.

Lyle makes a short copy of the cyricist's names and descriptions, and files them away.

Sinder just looks irritated when she reads it, and begins to brood angrily

I'm interested in, possibly, providing a bit of entertainment during this! The Triumvir has a wonderful couple of poems, and I'm still working on both my own first original Song and Epic! Do keep in mind that my skills are rather unpolished, though, as I am just beginning this sort of thing. If it would be prefered, I will also attempt to bring along an older, more experienced bard with me.

Dear Mayor Nof and Captains,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter but the timing just seems right to me. I have been in the militia for many great and exciting years and have met many wonderful hin, far too many to name. As I am not getting any younger, I think its about time to settle down and start a family and spend less time barking orders at the younglins in training. I would like to recongize a few hin that played a major role in making me the hin I am today. To my good friends Skit and Holl, I thank you for helping me get through the training. Lastly, mayor and former general Nof, you always were there to push us to become the best hin we could be.

So to the Captains and new members, lets keep the tradition strong and keep the Dale safe.

We've been having a problem lately with unauthorized non-hin, -gnome, -dwarf and -fey camping around, abusing the inn, and claiming Bendir Dale as a residence.

On behalf of Bendir Dale and the militia of Bendir Dale, such actions are regarded as criminal, and will reduce the chances of any legitimate residence within the lands of Bendir to zero, and such dissidants will be removed from the Dale, by force if necessry, and put under banishment. Understand that we are happy to hear the reasons and consider those not normally allowed to reside in Bendir Dale, but the laws as they stand now were the result of intense, democratic debates, meetings and votings. As such, they are the general view of the populace. If you truly wish to live here, ask yourself: Wouldn't it be easier to reside here the legal way rather than having yourself banned from even visiting?

Consider that. We're happy to hear your case. We're not happy to have you here without permission. And we know if you're allowed or not.

It would be noticed that the normally-visible Swift is suddenly conspicuous in her absence. She hasn't been seen since she bought a milk for her son and then walked out of the Dale with a screeching pseudodragon following her.

The message is written on tan parchment and addressed directly to Nof and Lyle.

There has been an uprising in the population of rats in the forest. They may pose a threat to the Dale, this is why I send word to you. Keep the gates closed and watched at both bridges might ensure most rats won't make it to town or to the orchard. That is, if they do decide to try and spread South. While rats can swim, the river flows at a fast enough speed to keep them from even trying to do it.

An elderly gnome with a foppish can be seen spending his time mostly at Hinn Inn, enjoying the fine vocals of the local bard. However, he doesn't seem to visit Bendir Dale all that often, even though he claims to live there.

To the Denizens of Bendir Dale,

I have recently come into the possession of a Ring of Brandobaris through a gracious donation towards the South Cordor Reconstruction Project.

Following my personal policy of attempting to contact worshippers or the Church of any reliquaries I find (within reason) , I am requesting a worshipper or faithful to Brandobaris contact me in due course that I might be sure that it it reaches the hands of the proper worshippers.

All I ask in turn, is a donation towards the South Cordor Reconstruction Project as that was the intended use of this ring's sale amongst other items I had recieved.

Swift has returned to the Dale, though Rusty is noticeably missing. She is almost always attired in her battle robes now and, from time to time, her humour and actions seem much darker than they were before.

Residents of Bendir Dale,

There will be a town meeting at some point within the tenday. There are many things that need to be discussed. As usual, the meeting will take place in the Town Hall office. Things on the docket include:

-Vermin Infestation
-Fundraisers
-Forest Problems
-Red Wizards
-Winya Ravana

And any other concerns brought up by those attending the meeting. Please leave note with me about when you're available, and we'll try to make sure everyone will be able to attend. Remember: Only residents may attend the meeting. Everyone who attends is expected to remain civil. Cookies and juice will be served midway through.
