It wouldn't work with the canon Eternal Order, who are a Paladin order, but it certainly works with Amia's branch of EO. Burning heretics for disagreeing with your ethics is what they do!

Cannon Eternal Order is as Iron said a paladin order, though the amian branch is not open soley for them, but to almost all classes. This also allows LE to join, as the kelemvorite divine based classes can be LE. I wouldnt have anything against a NE kelemvorite (non-divine based class) either.

I'd argue that most of amian kellies ARE lawful evil. If not a dm owes them an alignment shift. _________________

LN, maybe, but I'd certainly not be saying that the need a DM to force alignment change.

From what I've witnessed, they're generally rather good-aligned, somewhere between LG and LN. Burning heretics and persecuting percieved wrong-doers is not only non-evil, but probably good. They've perhaps done evil things, but that doesn't automatically make them evil. These things aren't simple or easy. But I guess that's between DMs and the Kelemvorite players.

Indeed. The majority of the Kellies -aren't- evil, nor should they be shifted to it. I would say we're, over all, LN with LG tendencies but there are LE among us. The LE take the back seat though since the EO runs the show for most Kellies and they aim for LG/LN ways. I think the EO does a fine job at it too.

I don't recall Kelemvor having a lot against them in principle. Not sure about demons capturing the souls of the dead and devil's agreements to buy souls. I guess the latter is a valid contract, and thus not a heresy?
Eternal Order might have their own customs, though.

In character, the Eternal order usually won't approve tieflings. However, my tiefling that had never summoned any evil thing, that doesn't really play with undead and is more playful and mischiesvous than truly evil made friends in the EO.
I don't think the eternal order has any problem at all with Eilistraeen. In the past Sharina had even come to the Shrine to speak with Delarwyn. The Shrine is undead free place and Eilistraeen disapprove the use of undead.
I believe all paladin orders would go against drow from underdark.
Outsiders, depends of the type.
For what I saw of the EO, they are hunters of those that practice evil, summon succubi, undead, play with people soul, attack their members, or follow Gods that are enemies of their Church.
They are not LE. I see them as LN honestly. They are able of great benevolence and very extreme measures. But, they are not evil.
If I had not make a Paladin for the Triadic Knight, I would most certainly play a paladin of the EO. The folks of the faction are great RPers. They promote loads of rp for the players that are involved on the faction, what isn't as common as we would like to think. With the TK we had great fun as partners of the EO.

While ic it is explained different and with more fancy words, the truth the faith on amia teaches that demons are vile as they attack the city of judgement and steal souls from the wall. Devils on the other hand even have permission through kelemvor to make deals with mortals and hence are not opposed, but hardly welcome in the temple or lands.
While tieflings and drow are not enemies, unless falling into a foe catergory such as lothite or cult of orcus, they are not very welcome either. Drow and tieflings, even if they have aided for years will never fully gain the trust (at least it never happened) of the EO, or at least of the current person who decides to get in.

Well, the temple was destroyed and a lot of the cleregy died. I would have found it very rude, unfair and plain god-gaming if we wouldnt have suffered under such a blow for a long while. Kinda like being pvped, returning twenty min later and then attempting to kill the other side. How far any recovery is, or if one is actually happening, is stuff I wont speak of ooc though.
