Okay so iv asked around IC and OCC and people either have no idea what im talking about or can not remember where they got there. Iv been looking for where you buy the Candelabra for a few days now and looked every where i can think of to look. Does anyone here remember where there found?

Are you sure this isn't just a PLC you select when you're in a rental house?

It is actual placeable you can buy. More or less list is:

Bear rug
Couch
Bed
Candlebra
Candle
Small rug
Large rug
Square khemian rug
Round khemian rug
Potted plant
Tent 1
Tent 2
Fireplace
Roast
Cauldron
Map
Cushions
Bench
Chair
Stool
Spider chair
Mirror
Table

As for places to buy them, look in merchants at odd places. For candlebra I think it was Wharftown or some such place.

If you mean the holdable version, it is in just like the holdable book. I will not name the location though, but it is not a merchant where you get it from.

Tried Wharf and Uhm but i will looks around again and ask more people again IC again :S I remember it being the one that always gave me the most trouble then when i would find it at some point i would be like "Your kidding. . .it was here the entire time. . .?" Hmmm or where the new holdable items added to the update forum?

I believe asking this is metagaming, if you don't know, your character sure as hell doesnt either!

If it's metagaming, it's surely a completely inoffensive kind of metagaming. In a real actual world, any person would be able to walk up to any other person on the street and be told where they could go to buy something so incredibly mundane as a candle holder, and they'd probably be told to walk into any metalsmith on the isle and buy one for 3gp. In NWN, it's only game mechanics that prevent that from happening... I can stand in front of, say, Zeek in Wharftown and yammer for an hour about how I'd just love for him to forge me a candle holder, but his NPC script just doesn't let him hear me or respond to my request, no matter how much he'd like to, or how much I pay him.

Then perhaps they should be asking around to real people in character?

Iv asked repeatedly in game no one can actually remember and iv looked around. And it isn't like getting a the item gives me some huge advantage over someone or it hurts anyone in some way. It isn't that different from OOC'ly talking and making arrangements for people to "run" into each other in some place. I'm asking for help to find a item that would work towards making rp how is that such a bad request. It isn't like i came here first without trying. Iv tried and still and trying as well as i ask for help on here.

I agree with this, these are simple mundane items, y'all are taking the metagame thing too far on this one. And like she says, most of these things we use to enhance our RP experience.
I just want the candle..

Well, seeing you should be able to get a book and candelbra anywhere normally ic, I will just help out ooc. In my update of the Hin Inn I added them there. Would be cool if such things could be added in a few shops around amia a and b as well, as Tormak suggested in another topic before. In the update of Khem they are in a shop (as well as the shovel, bucket, instruments and other such things), which is done but not yet added yet. Mach has it for a while now, but I am not sure if it is going to be added as I am no longer on the design team.

Boo! It should be, and agreed a lot of the items should be added more through Amia A-B. I think a nice idea would be to toss a few new shops in that sell all or most of the items in one spot. (may be making it to -easy- for some taste. However it does make rp more detailed and fun when you are actually "holding" the item you are rp'ly using. Thanks KrautBoy ~<3

Candleabra can be bought from Khem, the trade place past minos and raft over the water.

Thanks for that info, you just totally defeated the purpose of RP, and finding things out IG on your own. While we're at it, why dont we just reveal all the damn secrets of the server now.

It's not a secret. Its a commody item that everyone -should- have access in daily bases. One could ask any smith to make you one, but cause this is game, and NPC can't actually create the item, you have to buy it in certain locations. It is only fair to tell where to get such common item as candelabra.

And thank you for making my morning perfect.

I still fail to see why some are so uppity about this, not like having the placeable actually hurts anyone if anything it adds to rp. The devil is in the details the more detailed the RP is the more fun it can be. Take for example. Would you rather sit in a unfurnished room and rp just standing there. Or Rp in a fully furnished room.
