Where the Nine Hells is inventor job trainer? I've honestly been looking and asking enough people as it is, nobody seems to know. I can find inventor desks or whatever they are but no freaking trainer. I don't see point in trying IC anymore, gave it a shot and it is becoming ridiculous.

He's in the underdark. I had to get an OOC escort on Vale to pick it up. Could do with fixing.

The gnomes had one, yes. But no longer. :/ What I did note is that some trainers are far easier to be found and numerous. And underdark is a rather big placce to be searched. I did hear one is in Lobsul, but I can't go there to get it so no use.

Don't forget that EMD was once "Epic Mummy Dust", which would have made it Epic Necromancy and not Epic Conjuration anyway (in so far as NWN followed lore anyway). It has since become the epic summon base, where type chosen/reskin determines what is called forth and the how follows (eg: Shadow magic, Necromancy, collapsible golems thrown like pokeballs, animated flooring, or just plain conjuration)

I've looked myself and that went on for about three weeks until I entirely gave up, realizing that with my character's classes and race (paladin and human, respectively) there was no way I was going to get where one might be. The same goes for Historian as I'm not kicking my Paladin of Mystra into Tarkuul (no offense) :p The best thing to do until we can add one in is to try and poke a DM, and ask if they can take you to one you normally can't get to as an OOC method of getting the job.

They're mutual emotes. You use them by right clicking the emote widget on people nearby, and it will ask them for consent for each action.
They're also in "b" and the server is still "a" as you can see in the top left corner.

Regarding custom spells: I know the casting animations and vfx's can't be changed, but what about the projectile ones? I'm guessing not? So if you get a custom projectile spell, it will be whatever red/green/blue projectile comes with the weirdly named spell thing.

Is there a list of what DMs deal with what thing specifically? I just want to get a hold of the Kohlingen-area DM

There's a Comprehensive list here. But one thing to note is the Kohlingen DM is Rigela, and currently they're not active for various life reasons. Sorry about that!

Dark Immolation:
I don't believe that the projectile animation can be changed, no. So as you say, the projectile that shoots out when you cast the spell will always be the same one as default.

It would require a custom spell animation be designed and added specifically to the hak for the purposes, which would be pretty impractical considering we don't even have scripting requests open right now.

I figured as much, but was asking to be sure. And I wasn't at all suggesting that it was something to be changed right now. Long down the road however, if we fiddle with it again, it might be better to leave the "projectiles" of the spells blank if possible. Looks weird if you're supposed to be shooting a green fireball and a cotton ball or some weird tri-energy beam goes flying out.

What is the common language spoken in the UD? If a Drow, a Duergar and a Svirneblin enter a bar do they all speak Drow? I'm assuming they wouldn't use surface common but I could be wrong.

As a follow up to that, I assume that UD natives would not naturally have any understanding of surface common?

Yes. For Underdark Natives, Common would be a language they'd acquire as a 'bonus' language, rather than one they begin with.

I recall someone saying so in party chat, but want to confirm: Generic Summons can use up to 3 VFX right?

Starting to hate the inventor trainer for being better at hiding than most trainers. I keep searching the world but I don't seem to get even near. Do the job trainers really need to be this hard to find? -.-'

Think of all the fun "exploration" RP you're having though! Make sure you emote between incinerating trash mobs for maximum immersion. Share your experience with a friend, they'll thank you every time you meet up in the entry after the server crashes

My toon should be an inventor, not an explorer.... >.<' And running over the places without a portal wand is starting to be a real pain. I am starting to hate the damn job, maybe I should just forget it. And yes, I am being negative because this search is starting to be like looking for a needle from a hay stack. :/

The location of -every- trainer should be posted on the Job System section of the forums. I Agree 100% with Magiros. Exploration RP to find it is a real waste of time for one that really don't want to focus on it... a time that one could be using to do way other kind of RP they want and other things. One could hire a player that like to play with Explorer Job to get the maps sure... but that usually take a -long- time and only if one manage to find such player... Searching countless hours for them trainers and resources when a lot of module changes happen is -real- boring. Been there... done that...
But well this is not the place for further discussion...
When I find one placed at a suitable place for your character I will poke you.

I believe Amarice told us to ask a DM when we cannot locate a trainer. And inventor should be somewhere indoors in Howness. Maybe still buried in the room beneath the Gnomish Test Range.

I see some weapons that have a +whatever vs. evil or good. Does that +whatever go against just pc's or is it with monsters as well?

RE: PLC spawners
I am considering a PLC spawner to deploy signs, like the job system ones. Can this be done with a bio and everything created for them (based on a sign my char currently uses)? Or would this be an Item Creator?
I am hoping to be able to place multiple of the signs so that I don't have to have a bunch of bags dedicated to carrying signs that I can only place once, heh.

do human outsider characters still retain the +1 skill point per level from their base race or does that go away after the subrace changer gives you your new race? I forget

When crafting with a Greatsword, I've noticed that on models 13 (top) and 18 (mid) and 12 (Bottom) with colours 4, 4 and 4 respectively, that the blade, crossguard pommel have a transparent appearance. Is this fixable? Lowering my graphics setting only makes the models turn flat white instead of shiny, but still transparent. Reference image.

What's the order you have to put the HAKs in a module now with the latest update? I can't get the new content to appear in my testing module

Widget question.....
Is a widget that uses charges such as bard song or ki damage considered custom scripting? I'm asking since it's on indeterminate hold....
Thanks!

Yeah, since it doesn't exist already, it still has to be created, despite how easy it may or may not be.

There are however ways around that, if the widget you want has been requested by another player before as the takes no aditional scripting. And there have been a fair few so there is some decent selection of already scripted widgets.

You'd have to say what exactly you want that widget to do before anyone will know whether or not it's been created already.
