Hey,

As I understood from Rigela the DM who ran the rebuilt of the Triumvir that minstrel instructor was meant to be a copper dragon discipline. Now it appears as if she was a red dragon disc.

Also, it is possible to move her from the store to the Twilight stage by chance, so lowbie bards can benefit from her when they perform? Somewhere at the edge of the stage or the audience side perhaps?

Thank you!

I thought I would post this here instead of starting a new thread.

In general I like the wandering NPCs that have been added in places, guards, etc. However, in the Triumvir it is just a bit much. I find it [me personally, others may disagree] near impossible to RP there with so many moving NPCs & floating lights, and them repeating the random one-liners every thirty seconds.

I'd also suggest maybe altering their walk path (I'm not sure how it's set up) so they don't move quite so close to the lamp. It causes a lot of confusion and congestion in that corner.

I have to agree with Ana. Given the sheer number of NPCs as well as their constant moving around and talking, the Triumvir feels more like a hassle to RP in. Really breaks a lot of the focus in the area.

I have to agree as well. It's way too busy, the NPC's talk way way way too much, and there are way way way too many of them.

When I see people there I generally see them RPing in the twilight stage, but taking a walk around the stage results in explosions and random walls of text. It's just really distracting overall.

I do appreciate the idea, but I have to agree that the spammy, twitchy NPCs are pretty distracting an immersion breaking. They feel like...well...bots. Random wandering and repeating the same few lines actually makes them feel more like fake robots than the NPCs that just stand silently.

It shatters the illusion. It's why I prefer stuff like the fire giant king (that doesn't interact with you at all) to 'cinematic' stuff like the gibberling dungeon finale.

Emulating any kind of interaction fails utterly because, while they talk to you, you can never talk back, and they keep saying/doing the same things so much its impossible to see them as anything but robots. That 'shred' of interaction makes them that much more disruptive to actual interaction with other people, which is why I think the courtyard is always devoid of actual people and anyone that goes there to chill tends to do it in the area with only one obnoxious npc (the stage).

personally I never had any issue with the NPCs in the area. Aside from the chances that they get stuck on occasion there is nothing wrong with them. In fact, they gave us reason to start an IC dialogue about them. And pls leave the lights as they are!
