The shaiith jalil who had been the Jabbress d'l'Orbb in Edonil arrived by leyline in the wake of the Ust'Ilharess and one of her males. The conversation that continued throughout the Sanctuary was largely one-sided; the woman of rank explaining the situation while the other woman listened, periodically making an observation or question. While the three drow roamed the island, the monstrous funnel web spider that had accompanied the shaiith had taken to exploring the crown of what was now the new Arach-Tinilith. After they parted ways, the white-streaked drow vanished from the island only to return a short while later with a pair of pale bodied orb-spinners emerging warily from the leyline after her.

Soon, silk began to spread throughout the inner spaces of Nec'perya.

The cycle turned, and a seasonal figure could be noticed tending to the spiders in Nec'perca again.

Before the first 'day' had even passed, the shaiith had been approached by a male of Qu'ellar Ussen d'Vhid. The two spoke for a short while before the male led her away from the temporary nest that had been spun in the north eastern corner of the island, and into the cave below the Temple district.

The conversation continued there, eventually turning into surveying and labor; drow and spiders coordinating an investigation that would, theoretically, result in a targeted excavation.

Gradually, other orb-spinners typically found in the company of the female trickled in and began adding their own silk to the ceiling, working toward what looked like a thin, but massive cocoon inside the cavern. The shaiith jalil worked along side the spiders, climbing the webs and investigating the stone for any signs of an access point that might be buried above; calling other vermin to her aid to search with their specialized sensory organs, and test the rock in ways that the spiders were not particularly designed for.

When it was time to rest, the entourage would scatter to their own corners of the ceiling, the female drow included, to recuperate in their silken lofts until they would awaken, and continue where they had left off.

In the company of monstrous vermin, the Lani d'Orbben worked to find a way to access the future nest. Ankhegs were called for extraordinary sensing organs and imbued with the freedom of movement to walk the spiders' webs. Ants and wasps were pulled to the cavern to lend the strengths of their species to the task. And countless breeds of spiders walked the cavern's surfaces as the hours turned and the drow sought continued to probe and investigate the environs...

a single drow looked at the progress with... A worrysome expression? The cavern was the settlements main food income, from all the fungi around the cavern, but also the settlements main FRESH WATER SUPPLY.
The single drow, a male sorcerer, peered into the pool of water.

"I hope they do not contaminate the water..."
