Before the first 'day' had even passed, the
shaiith had been approached by a male of Qu'ellar Ussen d'Vhid. The two spoke for a short while before the male led her away from the temporary nest that had been spun in the north eastern corner of the island, and into the cave below the Temple district.
The conversation continued there, eventually turning into surveying and labor; drow and spiders coordinating an investigation that would, theoretically, result in a targeted excavation.
Gradually, other orb-spinners typically found in the company of the female trickled in and began adding their own silk to the ceiling, working toward what looked like a thin, but massive cocoon inside the cavern. The
shaiith jalil worked along side the spiders, climbing the webs and investigating the stone for any signs of an access point that might be buried above; calling other vermin to her aid to search with their specialized sensory organs, and test the rock in ways that the spiders were not particularly designed for.
When it was time to rest, the entourage would scatter to their own corners of the ceiling, the female drow included, to recuperate in their silken lofts until they would awaken, and continue where they had left off.
