After the defence of the newly hatched children of the Dread Valsharess from the attack of displacer beasts, Yath’abban Jhal’vyrae, first daughter of Vandree, offered a personnal gift of Spider eggs that she had saved and cared for to the Temple of Edonil. Ulath’taller Nizzre’tyne gave Jhal’vyrae the honour of choosing a spot for them within the Temple.

Jhal’vyrae instantly went to the Temple in the company of Yath’taller Elvinna'driss and chose a suitable spot to nest the eggs in silk. Under the watchful eye of the Yath’taller, who discussed at length with Jhal’vyrae about new orders they had been given by the Ulath’taller. Jhal’vyrae carefully and meticulously placed the eggs within a silk nest, woven from the silk spiders.

Once she was satisfied the eggs were safe, Jhal’vyrae stepped back and offered a blessing to lolth. Mentally adding these new eggs to her list of Temple spider duties.
