(RE "Spiders over Edonil" in DM events)

Yath'abban Jhal'vyrae d'My'afin du'ur' Vandree, present at the recent hatchings of Lolths children at the temple, led a prayer in Lolths name spilling her own blood in reverant awe and blessed the coming of Lolths Children. She ordered the temple spiders fed with the bodies of heretics.. It was Elamshin, Lolths Will. That rebels attacked at that momment, for they were crushed by those that were present giving yet more nourishment to the newly hatched spiders.

The spiders satisfied, word reached her, from Dir'zae, of a group of Drow massing just outside the gates to Edonil. Fearing another attack by rebels, like the one that had just happened, Jahl'vyrae ran to the gates to be greeted by a sight of a large number of Drow and spiders waiting and talking to Isen'du't'tur.

The Jalil leader of this large group demanded to speak to a female of Edonil. Jhal'vyrae, being the highest ranked Yath present, stepped forward and demanded to know who they were and what their intentions were. The leader explained they were refugees.. Escaping from their city overrun with Heretics and she wished to speak to the Ulath'taller.

Fearing a trick, having just been present to an earlier attack, Jhal'vyrae demanded proof. The leader showed Jhal'vyrae the many spiders within their entorage and after a short exchange of words Jahl'vyrae lowered her gaurd and introduced herself. The leader of the refugees upon learning the Ust'Ilharess was unavailable and the Ulath'Taller is yet to be chosen bid Jhal'vyrae Aluve' and said she would wait and make camp with her people in the caves outside Edonil until such time she can speak to an Ulath'Taller.

Those present, after the refugees had left, discussed going to the refugee camp to have closer look at their numbers. To talk to certain members to garner more information about them and to see how they treat their spiders especially, as this would be an indication of their sincerity.

This is all written down and sent forthwith in a letter report marked "Urgent" to The Ust'Ilharess of Edonil. The Matron Mothers council and to her own Ilharess, Delia Vandree, though what transpired was seen by the Jaluk near the gates, Jhal'vyrae knows this needs urgent attention.

Recently the Ul'ath'tallar would have been seen making her way through the refugee camp. The large sirrush at her heal with a low menacing growl to any whom venture too closely and gliding above a small shadowy form that keeps to the heights and emits a coo or peep sound at regular intervals.

Also in attendance is Oloth'Sutrinos Streeaka'ael in a new style of armor. It is likely that the jalil's in attendance gaze would linger upon the well defined and muscled bare arms and thighs. If the Oloth'Sutrinos noticed the stares he did not comment.

Her tour was slow and she took many notes in a black leather tome. She singled out certain jalil, most likely priestesses to speak to the longest. Then she and Streeaka'ael had conversations with certain jaluk.

There were bags of fresh rothe meat and other delicacies handed over. The jalukes who had been on guard would hear of a supply of jhinrae and blood wine now available for them when they were off duty.

Finally, the Ul'ath'tallar shared a few words before departing.

"Our Glorious Queen in her wisdom is pleased at the chaos you have endured. She has guided you here to Edonil and her Temple so that you may continue to serve and further her Glory. As your Ul'ath'tallar, I shall ensure you continue upon the path our Valsharess has set for you. You have traveled far...you have prevailed against our enemies...your faithfulness will be rewarded!" Nizzre'tyne raises her arms high. "Lolth tlu Malla!!"

With that Nizzre'tyne cast bless upon all those gathered and the dreadful divine power of Lolth coursed through them all.

*Displaying respectful caution, the yath that spoke on behalf of the camp approached Ul'ath'tallar following the blessing to check that they were indeed welcome to enter the city and reestablish themselves in devotion to it.*

The yath were indeed given permission to enter Edonil along with all of the refugees. They were told to set up near the Temple itself. Yath and Spider guard up near the building itself and the rest down on the lower level.

Any Spider Guard were told to meet immediately with Oloth'Sutrions Streeaka'ael for orders and where to place their tents until a suitable building was found for them to be housed in.

The Yath would meet with Nizzre'tyne to be tested so that official ranks in Edonil would be issued.

Further the warriors were commanded to go out and obtain suitable food for the soon to hatch spider eggs in the Tempe. Also to bring back live bats and rats to let loose around Edonil so that the spiders would not have to venture out of Edonil in order to find their meals. This information was in turn given to the commoners among the refugees so that they might be secure in the knowledge that Nizzre'tyne didn't intend for them to be spider-meals. It was also noted that the fishing from the nearby river was excellent.
