I would like to report Laurel Beestinger. She came to my house in an obvious abuse of power demanding that I fetch my guest even though she would not say why and had not broken any laws. This being said there was no reason for her not to speak with him when he next came into town or even ask that I simply mention she wanted to speak with him but demanded that I get him immediately.

I refused. I did tell him when I went home that she was looking for him, however being disturbed in my home so she can vent her ire with no cause is morally wrong and completely unjust. Not to mention intolerable behavior from a supposed officer to harrass citizens in their home.

A note is added in Lyle's handwriting.

I am leaving this note in the hopes you can shed some light on the cause of all this distress and apparent ill feelings on the part of so many as I am unaware of any reason this should be the case concerning myself.

The Elflings mood seems to raising once again, the fact Lyam had just returned coincides with such, probably isn't a coincidence.

*When stopped by the militia and told he is now banned, Krugan will blink asking why. When told of Lyle's orders (post in Known Criminals) he will ask to speak with him sending this note via alternate means*

Given the confrontation in the Abyss with the Mulans, I guess their spreading influence has finally reached the Dale as well. They did say they already knew your successor.

Am I to be given a chance to speak or should I just write this one up to more of Zelly and her slaver allies being able to further expand their influence?

Again, as I have DEFENDED the Dale and worked to protect it. Have spilled my blood for it and protected even the women from being taken by goblins for mates. I truly find this...distasteful and dishonorable.

And I am very disappointed in how this is going.

If you wish to speak to me, let me know. Otherwise, it is fine. I spent little time anymore in the Dale and stopped my protections when Amenia was driven out while still nearly an invalid. Such is the kindness shown by...goodly...people.

I am finding it rather telling how supposedly good people do not even stick to their own so called beliefs when it is not convenient to them.

Again, if you wish to actually speak to me about this and at least explain as to why I am banned now...conspiracy? Really? Criminal mischief?

I would certainly love to know what criminal mischief I have done and what conspiracy I have committed. For maybe it will actually be known to me.

Or is this once again, are these more lies taken as truths?

You know me well. I won't lie to you. If I am justly banned, so be it. If not, I think well enough of you that I believe you will lift it. So I send this letter in the hopes of resolution but, in all honesty, I have become quite cynical of late when it comes to the so called goodly people around here.

I begin to wonder if evil has slipped into what once we good areas and, like a disease or poison, destroyed the very thing that made them good without them even realizing what has happened.

It does seem so to me.

Though not much of a debate had happened between the two candidates, both candidates seemed serious about the future of the Dale and spoke passionately when questions were asked by residents and visitors alike.

Today, Beau and I found a suspicious man breaking into your home cooking unidentified meat in the Cauldron. Serena and I dumped the contents and blessed the area where we buried it. I later went and cleaned the Cauldron myself and also cast a blessing upon it.

He initially came and asked if it would be possible if he can take two hins with him. One of our sneaks overheard him say he needed more to cook with to himself.

I am horrified at what he may have been cooking inside your home, but I am glad neither you or your children were there to witness it.

Mayor Torrowfire, Captains N'sa and Thornhill I hope this finds you well. At least as well in the current state of affairs of your prosperous town of Bendir Dale things might go. I write this letter to inform you of a few items.

The first is that the Arbitrator Tauronemhet is unavailable at this time and that I shall stand in his stead in all affairs as the current political head of Djedet.

The second is that because of certain actions by Hin and others whom have been 'friends' of the Dale, Laurel Beestinger has asked me to stand for questioning in the matter. I will do so when you wish it. I would speak of the one whom I am told is known as Breazy the one known as Libbba, and the ones known as Krugan and Amenia. These are inherent in implicating the one known as Roim who would stand in their place.

Please let Mayor Lyam Torrowfire, Captain Pilineth N'sa, and Captain Lyam Thornhill know of Breazy, Libba, Krugan, and Amenia's actions and threats against you and the Arbitrator.

Our baseline statement of these matters shall be. You have a trial by peers. The Arbitrators and my word are honor-bound. They have been banned from our settlement for actions against us. If they are allowed to persist in your settlement, if your people cohort with these, a decline in the prosperity of our friendship and alliance is only natural.

Pilineth may be seen coming to and fro the Town hall in anticipation of the new mayor being named.

With the election results due to come in later, rumor is that Fendel is having an election results party in the Hin Inn.

Laurel, now the Mayor-Elect of Bendir Dale, was given the letter originally addressed to Lyle.

Pilineth would make for the town hall cheery this morning, but after congratulating Laurel, she would leave shortly afterwards for Winya, to "spread the good news" if she was asked.

Aly and the babies are quick to give Laurel relieved congratulations!

Dear Residents and Friends of the Dale,

I thank you all for your love and support to have elected me with this honored position as the new Mayor of our beloved Dale. With my Mayorship, I am proud to present to you all the new Deputy Mayor of the Dale, the lovely gnome Private of the Blade Unit, Missus.

Given the diversity of our current community, many aspects of the Dale will reflect the change to embrace members of other races aside from hin that have been a rightful citizen here all along.

Starting with the Militia, the list of criminals and otherwise banned individuals are now written in Common so that those who are not well-versed in hin can be equally notified of dangers and misfits that unfortunately lurks this island that we call our home.

Due to security concerns, however, the list is no longer available on the board as it used to be. All residents and Militia personnel may hereby request to view the list of banned individuals in the Town Hall at any given time for your own safety and our mutual protection. The former descriptions of crime and their appearance is also available to all residents and that too may be requested at the Town Hall. Please do not take these records elsewhere and return them to Cindle as soon as you are finished.

((Basically we now have two lists. The old list will continue to be used for banning people, giving their physical description and their crime. It's just not publicly displayed on the board anymore. The new list is a list where names of banned individuals can easily be seen in alphabetical order without sorting through paragraphs after paragraphs of description.

These lists, while not displayed publicly like it used to be on a board, can still be requested to be shown at the Town Hall for residents and Militia members. But not for non-residents.))

Laurel sets up a new Report Box, filing away (but NOT throwing away) old reports from the box.

Any sign of what Laurel has previously set up has seem to have simply vanished and a new box put in place without a lock though a small note is added.

These are reports not judgement. Feel free to read them for you're own amusement or to be aware but any one found acting on them will be fined 25,000 gold and will loose all citizenship rights or position till paid.

Today I have the displeasure of informing you that Sally assaulted and knocked out a traveller in dale walls.

The one she attacked was flat refusing to remove her hood and was generally being an arse, and when she was about to leave, Sally made some kind of horrible scream, that seemed to physicly damage her. I woke up the woman and explained I would indeed have to file a report, and that she should leave to prevent further hostilities.

After much backhanded discussion I finally left to file the report here.

I trust your judgement on this one Laurel.

It hadn't exactly been the best night for Pilineth after leaving her report she found herself drinking. Heavily. And ended the night sprawled on the double bed in her room at the inn with the words "sunny was here" etched into her forehead.

Laurel investigates the matter involving Sally and stamps on the corner of the report to let every know it's status. The following is added in the space below Pilineth's report.

Sally Torrowfire is temporarily banned from the Dale for three circles of the sun for the assault against a visitor.

Dear Residents and Friends,

Due to recent disasters both in the region of Khem and the mountainous town of Guldorand, the Dale will assist in the coordination of relief efforts for both of these regions in whatever manner that we can.

While the invitation from the Mayor for people of Guldorand to come stay at the Dale remains open, we more than anyone understand the importance of one's own home. Those interested in aid of Guldorand are advised to speak to Sir Robert as he spears the relief effort in that region. The far northern room of the Hinn Inn will be reserved as a storage space, so that once per day a representative and coordinators with Sir Robert can take the donated goods to Guldorand using the cart system. If you are coming from the entrance of the Hinn Inn through the town square, the designated area for Guldorand will be to your left.

Those interested in aid of the region of Khem have asked for food and capable people being able to work in warfare. Please be aware of the cultural difference between the Dale and particularly people from the township of Djedet when one is going to assist. There will be a designated area in the northern room of the Hinn Inn on the opposite side of where the goods for Guldorand would be stored. If you are coming from the entrance of the Hinn Inn through the town square, it will be to your right. We will deliver the goods through magical means in conjunction of those of the Shrine of Eilistraee.

Residents and friends are reminded that offering aid is not simply forcing what we believe is helpful, but thinking of the position of the very person we are offering our help. Please heed the words of the people in the region for these relief efforts first and foremost if any raised concerns.

She swings past the Town Hall, inquiring as to if there are any supplies out of the food surplus she may take to the people in Khem, proceeding to gather them up should any be allotted. Shortly after, she heads home to tell Peter she'll be back within the week with any luck.*

Snobbles stands in the inn looking over the posting, Ale in hand, he takes a swig and looks back at the posting.

"I would help, But the idea of a Tempurian helping slavers...No."

Taking another swig of his ale.

"I wonder if Laurel realizes that she has access to two different parts of the Militia.."

Please allow for temporary entrance of members from the Shrine of Eilistraee to come within the Dale walls even if they do not possess a token nor comes with an escort. Other visits by drow who do not possess our token are only to be escorted by the authorized members on the list as before.
