Since Atok was found those residing in Djedet would each have recurring Dreams.
Ulrik:
Ulrik dreams of a childs toy held within his hands, an intricately carved stick that twists and knots on a path nearly impossible to follow from end to end. As his eye followed the twisted path of the timber, upon reaching an end, the timber exploded into flame within his hands.
On awakening the hands of the Magi are lightly burned.
Mahir:
The Sekhry dreams of a lump of unshaped Iron Ore. The Ore itself infuses the dream with warmth as it seems to glow from within. The glow would quickly turn the Ore to the cherry red of a molten metal and the lump sloughs away. The warmth would become heat and the Sekhry would know he has been set aflame.
On awakening the Sekhry's feels as if his entire body has been touched by the sun.
Talyne:
The feathered Aasimar dreams of striding the empty desert. Her throat is parched and her travel long. Ahead she spots an Oasis. Her feet would drum the sand as she runs towards the safety of shade and water. She drew nearer her salvation and stopped. Ahead a grinning skull aflame, and then another, and another, and another. Screams of anger and resentment resound within her head.
On awakening Talyne is haunted by the screams
Jud'vardas and Jacqueline:
The two drow dream the same dream but from their own perspective. Both are bound to pillars of stone at a distance where an outstretched hand could nearly result in a touch. Behind each figure a inky shadow in the form of Werejackal stands. With slow deliberation Shadowed hands enfold their necks in an embrace. The two drow would see the other die. . .
On awakening Jud'vardas and Jacqueline would find it difficult to speak through the pain in throat and neck

Jacqueline awoke from her reverie drenched in a cold sweat. Normally her reverie was controlled, calm, soothing. . . but this memory. . . this one was not her own. She'd had no control over it in her mind, and this frightened her. She stood quickly and dressed, setting off to find her father.

Mahir wakes up his body alight with the burning sensation. He quickly arises and sets himself into a pool of water. His skin was the color of an angry red. And this time, not because of his paints.

The young aasimar seems haunted, the new dreams weaving in with the nightmares that have already been plaguing her. She's taken to spending most of her time in the complex, trying to keep herself awake, but drifting off into little fitful naps. Each time she awakes from the bunk she's chosen in a corner, she covers her ears and screws her eyes shut, crying silent tears until the echoes fade.

Mahir:
The Sekhry dreams of a lump of unshaped Iron Ore. The Ore itself infuses the dream with warmth as it seems to glow from within. The glow would quickly turn the Ore to the cherry red of a molten metal and the lump sloughs away. The Sekhry would feel the fire begin to gnaw at his extremities, then an instant cooling as water runs over his skin. The opaque image of Drow using a simple bucket and water had doused the flame.
The shadowed hands fall away, as a bright knife held in the fist of a red painted warrior strikes them free of the bindings that held them tight.
Ulrik:
Ulrik dreams of a childs toy held within his hands, an intricately carved stick that twists and knots on a path nearly impossible to follow from end to end. As his eye followed the twisted path of the timber, upon reaching an end, the timber straightened in his hand and became a stave, a bright green feather etched into both ends.

Mahir awakes from his dream terrified but with a cool relief pouring over him. He seeks out Jud immediately.

Upon awaking from the latest dream, the magician would instinctively look to his hands. Sighing immediate relief, he would none-the-less appear puzzled from time-to-time during his days as he contemplated the meaning and symbolism. His eye also appears drawn to certain things he may spy during the day, branches of trees, the rare stick that may be laying about.
"A magician's path is a winding way. Obstacles are as knots, and, twists are as infinite as the possibility of the future. To follow one's winding path to the end... or is it the beginning?"

After his talk with Ulrik and Jackie and then the in depth discussion with Jud'Vardas Mahir ponders.
He now is ready to fight in his dream and he tries to look for the source of the heat, see what is heating the ore. The others believe in his dream he is the ore and like a weapon he starts as ore before worked into full potential. This takes both fire and water. He beleives his own ambition to be the heat and Jud to hone the blade is the water.
He believes he might have more potential than he ever thought. Learning his 'inspiration' was not simply mundane but something greater. He is unsure what it is, or what it can be. Being told by Jud it might be bardic magic or some form of it. Jud seemed to beleive that due to his relation to an incarnation of Anhur he might be what is called a favoured soul. At night mahir reads whatever books he can about this subject before drifting off to sleep.
