The name was Mirvala_

Ah, I sent one too which did not get added. Zip file name was merciakhryseis (I *think*, it was on a different computer, may just be mercia) file names were mercia_

As far as I know everything was named properly etc though I would not put it past the email from failing.

I only got 5, sorry. If your subject line was anything that wasn't do to with Amia or portraits, I probably deleted it without a second look, though.

My subject line was [Amia] Portrait of Mirvala

Well, I went through 8 pages of spam folder. Nothing. Everyone else gets it to me so I have to conclude it's something on your end.

Mirvala, feel free to pass it on to me and I'll forward it to Tormak, since I know he received mine recently for Ran's portrait.

Anyone knows what could cause the portraits to show upside down on the portrait selection screen?

I just made two for my characters, and that's what's happening...

It's an issue with TGA compression. The only thing that really seems to work is re-saving, re-cropping and generally messing with the image until NWN displays it correctly.

Please list the exact dimensions of your portraits in pixels. 256 x 400 is the ideal size btw.

Already solved, thanks Ninja for the tip, it lead me to the solution.

[I'm using gimp] Black background, no compression and "Origin" uhh... one of the two, forgot:D (bottom left/top left)

you're fine, you got the word "Amia" (or somethin gNWN/DnDy related) so I don't zap it.

I'll try sending it again from a different account, perhaps it got spam-foldered.

I'm having an issue, where I can't see my portrait anymore. I have the newest pack in the correct folder and you also did a file override change for me.
Maybe the issue is because the file names are exactly the same as the one I created my character with?

If you can't see your portrait, that means the filename that the portrait has, and the filename you gave me, do not match. They need to match exactly, this includes capitalization and any underlines.

Ahh I see what I did. On my request I added a _ after the name. It should be just KaraAriskava not KaraAriskava_ Sorry about that. Should I make another request?

I noticed there was no portrait pack update this month, will my portrait make it into Octobers?

I can see my new portrait IG as per: http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=67154 but I guess no one else can.

Tormak, I just sent you a portrait for Robin... I used the same filenames as I did for the previous portrait I'd been using for Robin. I'd like to overwrite those old files, since I won't be using that portrait any more. Let me know if there's an issue with that!

Mine doesn't appear to be in the pack. I sent it to you in late August before you went on vacation.

I have every email'd portrait I got in august and september so.... I only had 1 sent in august and it was Aegus Clenn. I didn't read too hard and assumed it was that.

Oh, well I still have the email I sent you in my folder. But that's fine. I'll just send it to you for next months pack.

I've got my portraits in the pack and they're in my override folder, but im still not getting the portrait in game! Any clues as to why this might have happened!

All fixed! I are genius.

So I put the portrait packs in my override folder (unzipped and all) and now I have no portraits whatsoever in character creation. Single player or multi player. Help anyone?

If you want them to be put into the folder at creation you need to put what portraits you want into the 'portraits' folder (if you don't have one, make one!) and they should come up on Creation after that.

NB: DO NOT put ALL the portraits in there otherwise it migth crash your game if you try to make a new char.

Crap, I knew I was forgetting something. I hate it when I forget to make new folders. It's been so long since I've dealt with AAmia things that I also forgot to make a few new things. 'Preciate it

Seriously, though, having all those portraits in your portraits folder will kill NWN and make you crash at character creation. If you want to look at them and use one of them for your own character, I suggest you go through them with an image viewer (IfanView is great) and put the files of the one you want into your portraits folder.

Also, no one has any right to forbid you to use "their" portrait (except for mine, since I paid for it and it actually is a custom portrait of Zelly!

). Although generally most people ask that you don't use the portraits in the portrait pack because they like the individuality.
