I've conducted my vision spell on the Golden Company. The result isn't something comprehensible to mortal minds. They are shrouded by chronomancy - time magic - much like what was observed warding Anubis' portals months ago. Given what was alluded in the letter to Djedet, and my spell, there can be little doubt this Golden Company are servitors of Anubis.

I must warn: do not attempt divination on this group. The resultant use of chronomancy has left them shrouded in a maddening vortex of both the past and potential futures. I am first able to see straight to write this note hours after completing my rites of Vision.

This evidence should be brought to the attention of the commanders of the forces that face this company

To those who are keen to observe such, it is also clear this letter was not written by the magician's hand, but rather one with a more feminine hand.*

With the aid of a former colleague of mine, divination has revealed more information. While it is confirmed the Golden Company are servitors of Anubis, we have further confirmed three locations where portals exist: Amia Forest, Caraigh, and the River of Swords.

Furthermore, Anubis laid a magical trap upon the kobold Kurchin, specifically targeting myself. It seems he has been unwittingly used by Anubis' forces, due to his delicate psychological nature. My condition following my rites of Vision have been further exacerbated. It is certain I have been targeted specifically and compromised. Hence my rites, I have suffered severe headaches, and have lost my Foresight. Every trap thus has been triggered by the casting of divinations, and in a manner that nullifies my magical paradigm. As a result, I am rather incapacitated with headaches, suffering from a form of 'time-sickness,' devoid of my Foresight. No form of divine healing has helped. Suffice it to say, I will not be joining the fight. Or any fight, until well.

Take heart that the goddess Ma'at manifested in the Seven Stars Academy, via possession of one of the floating books. There is still hope.
