Do cleric domain spells received at a lower level than normal also have a lower DC?

ie: Word of Faith is usually a 7th level spell, but with Chaos domain one receives it at 6th. Is the DC formula: 10 + 6 + ability modifier + spell focuses or 10 + 7 + ability modifier + spell focuses?

I've checked the domain topic on nwnwiki but it doesn't say (at least not that I could find).

Pretty sure it goes with the innate level of the spell. In case of Word of Faith, 7th.

This. But without the "pretty sure".

Two questions.

1) Can greater dispelling be maximized so the d20 roll is always a 20?

2) The nwnwiki formula for the person casting greater dispel doesn't include SF, GSF or ESF in the equation. Is this an error or does taking the three feats in Abjuration not effect the final total for one's dispel attempt?

1. No.
2. It has no affect.

However, you may want to look at the spell modifications page. Recent changes have added neat perks to several spell foci, namely Divination and Abjuration.

Under the Drow domain it states those who choose this domain for their cleric receive Greater Dispelling at 6th level. Is this a typo as clerics already get greater dispelling at 6th level. I only ask as the other domains usually seem to give spells at a level lower.

Blackguard Demon Flesh bonuses......

Are they:
Levels 1 to 4. +1
Levels 5 to 8. +2
Levels 9 to 12. +3
levels 13 to 16. +4
+4 is the max

If not, what are they?

Thanks up front to those who answer!

I would think it starts at 4 with +1, then +2 at 8 until max at 16. Can't test it sadly, but that is how it usually is.

Speaking of rangers (because some people are), how about a fun little ranger 23/shadowdancer 6/wizard 1 with two fun pets, perhaps two panthers you say? Perhaps they have lots of cubs and then you will have loads!

Or ranger 23/shadowdancer 6/druid 1, for some bonus AB in wilderness areas. Kawaii.

Maybe ranger 26/bard 1/arcane archer 3?

Sorry, I felt the need to revive this thread *uses a defibrillator*. 8)

whatever you do, if you're going more than 9 ranger, then you'll want at least 21 for the bane of enemies (if not 23 for the bonus feat)

Rather squishy AC wise (Getting 50/51 with +4gear and a shield)
But the damage is unbelievable.

Blade thirst lets you put some extra enchantments on your weapons instead of Keen and +5Enchantment. (LIke Elemental damage + Improved Critical damage + Vampiric Regen + ??? )
And bane of enemies adds even more pure damage to your favoured enemies...
Not to mention Epic Weapon Specialization.

My old Dual-handaxe Ranger dished out 200+Crits in a disgusting phase.

I stopped playing back then, so my Gold Dwarf Ranger 25/ Fighter 4 / Bard 1 never got to level 30. But EDR 9/-, some DR gear and base CON 22 sure would have helped with the squeashiness.

I really should get him out again because he was fun to play, although his build was somewhat of a late bloomer due to the epic feats playing hard to get.

Regards
Ts

I think u trade 6 ac for 6 damage. But you have to buff Str as well to get that Str bonus and don't have to buff Dex on the other.

The other trade off is don't have to wear ranger gloves and you get your ranger skills that make u not just a pet using fighter without a armor check penalty.

Hello everyone. Is Blinding Speed altered on this server to last longer then 10 rounds? Can't find anything about but I'm sure a player told me once it lasts several (IN GAME)hours.

Quote:
Blinding Speed

Type of feat: general (epic)
Prerequisite: 21st level, dexterity 25+

Specifics: The character is able to cast haste on himself once per day. The effect will last 10 rounds.

Use: selected

You do realize that 1 hour IG = 2 minutes? So you would have Haste for a level 20 mage at just 1 IG hour. That's why I said OP, heh.

Sacrificing an epic feat to be able to get 2 or 4 min haste once a day, which is an effect you can get with potions (30 seconds a pop) or boots of speed (or whatever they are called) that lasts 1 min a pop two times a day is hardly "op".

But that's beside the point, I'm just wondering if anyone know if there's a change or not.

Seer = Shaman..

Shamans in dnd use mostly druid spells.

Seer conjures (for me at least) using the old method. Brewing potions from what you've found from the lands beleiving things to work a certain way that really dont work that way. Garments from bone and hides. Stripping yourself of the new society's customs and ways. Something tribal and spiritual like.

Also because I have shaman/seer and this is how I see it.

Nope. Thus the word charlatan. The only divinations that work with the future come from divine magic, but then, you wouldn't be doing something as hokey as reading palms. That is the domain of street performing, thus bard.

Sorcerers can be whatever you make them to be. They don't have to be battlemages. You might see them as only battlemages because there's no room for clerical (not Cleric-al) magic in NWN.

Barbarian/Druid combo entrail reader.

Wizard divination specialist worshipping the Great Mother (Beholder deity, eye jokes with "seer" are pun).

Bard/Harper Scout who attributes his/her unerring aim to 'knowing where they'll be', does the hokey fortune telling as well.

LN Cleric of Jergal with the "Fate" domain, other one free to fit the character's personality, he can see the future but believes it must never be told or mortals would try to alter their fates, disrupting the universe (hence how he could potentially be allowed to RP 'seeing' the future- he never tells what he sees or tries to avoid his own destiny due to his convictions). Alternately, he's NE and worships Cyric, thus his doctrine isn't to 'not tell', it's to simply lie about absolutely everything he sees, though since he actually talks about it and 'releases information', albeit all false, I don't see this one flying as readily as one that says nothing about it at all.

Or pick pure fighter, who is blind and without blind fight, that earns a living being a hoax fortune teller/Seer with no persuasive abilities, but a sense of humor.

Perhaps add one level of druid to it (and 8 wis max) so you can have a guiding wolf or rat.

Image

Svensk: "Hello? Someone out there..? I will tell you your fortune and look into your future for a few gold pieces. I am a Seer, you see. Anyone here?".

P.S. No pun intended.

An alternative would be a monk using his/her inner eye? Perhaps monk/sorc/dc? A bit lacking in mysticism.

If you have a Wizard/Cleric build with animal domain do the Wizard's Summon Creature spells also get the fortified creatures or just the Cleric's?
