I'll login to my account, and it'll say "you have successfully logged in", but when it refreshes, the top right-hand corner still has the'login' button and I can't access thing like I'd be able to if I were actively logged. Suggestions? Help? I should probably also state that this has never happened to me before. And it's so frustrating Edit: it also reads that I'm logged in on the bottom of the main page, where it reads everyone that's signed in. But I can't get into things like my inbox.

I imagine it is a client-side issue. Have you tinkered with the history settings on your browser to enable cookies?

Never had to do that before. So I guess I wouldn't think to do so. I'll try it, and if it persists I'll come back.

Or...at least I would, if I knew how to tinker with IE9. I went to internet options in my browser, but there was nothing in there about enabling cookies. Would I have to go into my computer to do it manually? (I have win7 64-bit, it's still pretty new to me, and windows likes to hide things anyway, soo)

Had this happen to me a couple times recently. I can confirm it's a cookie issue.

Suggestion/help for someone who's not well-versed in fixing things like this? (I can figure my way around a computer well enough, but not this unfortunately)

This happened to me also. I had been using IE for a few days while I was reinstalling stuff onto my laptop after a hard drive wipe, and then switched back to Firefox, which I think confused the website's cookies. The thing that fixed it for me was a complete clearing of my cookies folder. You'll lose a bunch of the info you've taught your browser to remember about you on other websites, but it solved the weird login thing for me. You should be able to just Google-search "how to clear my cookies in <your browser program>" and get advice, if you need it.

The problem is you're using a poopy browser; switch to Chrome!

I had that happen on my old smartphone. *Nodnod* It's a cookie issue.
