Facedown in the dirt, alone near the coast-- well out of sight from the Cordor walls, a corpse of a small girl could be found. She looks to be no older than five or six, and upon brief inspection of the body, it would be evident that the girl is of fiendish descent, bearing two small stubs for horns on the top of her head.
The cause of death is clear: A long cut across her neck with a large puddle of blood in the grass.
She wears no religious or organizational symbol on her body, and any certificates of identification are cleaned from her person.

Marcus is quick to respond, heading to the location to secure and further examine the corpse.

Leon arrives sometime after Marcus to assist him with his work. He gives Marcus a few instructions after some time, then promptly leaves.

After having made an examination of the scene and the body, Marcus moves the body to Moribund for cleaning and storage, giving it the last rites and ensuring that a Gentle Repose spell is placed on the body. Once that is done, he proceeds to take some measurements of the child - height, weight, estimated age, etc. With this information, he then heads to the Commonwealth Center for some research.
