Hey, trying to install Neverwinter Nights Diamond on my Asus Republic of Gaming laptop with Windows 7(64bit) Operating system. I put in the DVD-Rom, and open the files, try to execute the Setup.exe, and all I get is the logo pops up, a box in my lower right side of the screen with a blue progress bar fills up, and then a pop-up box with a blue circle with a white "i" and an ok button pops up, nothing else. I click the ok button, and nothing happens. Cant seem to find out why the game wont install on the computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can circumvent the problem by installing it on another computer to your specifications (that is with the desired textures, Amia hak, overrides, and the critical redo, but you can do this later if need be) and then moving the entire NWN folder with a USB drive or home network to the desired computer. It can also be played off the home network or USB, but it is up to you how you want to go about doing it really.

Of the two Win 7 computers I've installed it on, one installed it as per normal and the other would experience a similar problem to what you described; it's weird like that.

Make sure you use the 'Run as Administrator' on the setup.exe

Preciate the input, I will give it a shot. Thanks. I have run in admin, and trying to run it in different compatibilities, but still no go.
