I was considering a build for a Monk/Shifter but i do have a question. Does the monk Unarmed BAB progression count towards shapes that utilize creature claws (Gargoyle, Harpy, Stone Golem, Wyrmling)? i know that the AC bonus doesn't merge

Monk shifter works pretty well! The UBAB transfers over to all shapes which are 'unarmed'. They actually have creature weapons, so this interferes with a few parts of what is considered unarmed. UBAB works, and improved critical: unarmed will work, however weapon focus: unarmed will not work.
