Hi, i'm new. I saw someone recommend this server on the reddit nwn page, so i thought i'd give it a try as i used to really enjoy nwn RP servers back in the day. However having decided to travel and currently residing in Vietnam, i did not bring my copies of nwn with me. Thus, i 'found' some keys to play with. And this led to a consistent 'You have been booted' message upon trying to log in. Googling this leads me to believe this is something that could possibly be fixed server side. Is this possible? Is there any work around? My gamespy account name is 'Oblivioussoul'.

Thanks. I didn't buy from gog.com, therefore i doubt i can request CD keys from them.

I've experienced the server to lock your account to one specific set of cd keys. If you would for example make a new account you'd be able to log in.
So either you need to make a new account with this new CD key or someone needs to link your acc to the new set, that's how i think it works.
(I have two CD keys so we can play two persons at the same time, but when I for example try to login with my acc on the other computer I'll get booted while the other acc still works. Then i changed the CD-key in the nwn folder text file and my acc started working again while the other one did not)

I had a similar problem recently and finally got mine working, but in the process I ended up with like six different cd keys. I'll check which one I am using and send you the rest. If you have made a character previous on this server, make a new one to log in with your new cd key. When you do, ask a dm to authorize your cd key. They can do it ig and then you can log out and log back in with your regular toon and it should work. That is what I had to do. I'll pm you the other keys tomorrow. It's super late now but wanted to let you know help is on the way!

I have no previous character (due to inability to log in), so i have no issues creating a new one. Many thanks Mod.
And astro, you mean create a new account after Mod sends me the keys to ensure it works correctly?

The previous key you were using was one of our banned keys, hence the booting. I see you have managed to 'acquire' new keys and have played a bit already though, so I guess you've sorted yourself out.
