Probably an obvious answer, but does Maxi have a chance of dropping something other than his leg?

Edonil doesn't exist anymore. I think L'Obsul is around that part. I might be wrong.

I need a clarification from the DM's on one particular thing, which i had difficulty confirming or denying. I asked two DM's already, one said it's fine, the other that it isn't.
DC request of a summon.
Now mind you, i did find a rather clear statement, that new summons will not be added to the module. But what about requesting something that already exists in the palette?
For example: A cleric requesting a custom spell, which will summon a creature from the Shades: Summon Shadow? In other words, requesting something that normally you don't have, but other classes have by default.
Is this ok, or a no go?

This is fine, depending on what you're requesting to summon.

As far as i'm aware, aoe spells with durations only apply the Spellcraft save bonus on the initial roll [OnEntry], if at all, but not on the successive rolls. What i want to request for myself is probably going to be an Epic Spell, a substitute for EMD. That might happen, if i make it good? [Sorry if these questions seem awkward for obvious reasons, it's my first request and i don't want to mess it up by barking at the wrong tree.]

Uhh, depends on what you'd be asking for, I think. And bear in mind we do expect a fair bit of work for epic spells, considering how special they are.

What determines the number of charges on wand? Is it totally random (within some borders) or dependable on spellcraft for example?

It is your caster level for that spell plus 1d20. So if you are a level 3 bard/27 cleric and you make a Mage Armor wand it's 3+1d20 but a Darkfire wand is 27+1d20

I've suspected that something is bugged somewhere with those vrocks (and the hellwenches too). My sneak hides at +118, and she gets spotted constantly in the Abyss.

The main source of confusion comes from the hell witches, as they have See Invis but that model doesn't seem to have the See Invis visual working on them. So, it looks like they have TS when they really just have See Invis and massive Spot.

I can get past the Vrock with lower hide than people have posted. Hell wenches too, though that depends. Sometimes they see me. Other times they don't. I get spotted more often by the wenches than the vrocks.

What the factor that decides how fast will the transition load? It used to be way faster for me, but something changed.

I have a question about skill point dumping as I play a wizard, a wonderfull class which gets a lot of skillpoints but is a bit limited in class skills sadly.
I am really torn between levelling my wizard Harold up as a pure wizard and having to pay double for a lot of interesting skills as a result or taking one late epic rogue level and spreading the points more cost effectively but having a level then that doesnt suit him rp-wise.
Harold isnt a roque or rogueish even but as a dwarf put it eloquently yesterday he is a 'know it all' and I like him to have some knowledge of many skills so paying double may leave me short on points.
Advice would be very welcome.

"Know it all"? Replace rogue with bard and you're set. You don't have to sing and dance, as a 1 level bard, y'know [though if you want to, nobody is stopping you either]. Bard is an arcane class too, it could represent your character's further affinity for lore, appreciation of art and as for the rest of useful skills - long years of adventuring.

Dead wrote: So nothing to do with my net speed? Potentially, yeah. Host/client latency is a factor, as you might have noticed during those lag sprees areas took a bit longer to load than usual. It works the same way on your end too, but unless your net is really the pits, I don't think it'll change much. The game was made for 56k, after all.

The thing is that it used to be way faster. Now it's taking anywhere from 3 to 15 seconds to load. So I'm trying to figure what went wrong.

I would've thought it might have had to do with the dynamic resources plugin.

Nope, we don't do it for areas. And it's actually faster to load dynamically, even if we did.

2 questions
A) Can anyone link me to a PC request thread for someone requesting a banner flag? B) Is there a way of changing the colours of the 'Trumpet with flag' item or even requesting that as a unique item with different colours and an image on it aswell?

Is there a mechanical system for factions on Amia, like there is on Arelith? I've come from Arelith, and while I prefer Amia, there are parts of Arelith I'm trying to adjust to not having, such as the factions system.
Is there anything similar on Amia, or is it all regulated/coordinated in-character?

Regulated in-character. Most factions have a faction insignia that you can 'flash' to other PCs, but that's about it.

But if you piss off PCs, as 666WaysToHell noted, you can find lots of people hating you in short order. And, as always, if you're unsure if you should be able to go into an area (like an undead-creating necromancer sneaking into Kohlingen), ask a DM

I dug through the forums for this and even the NWN Wiki.... but... can't get a real answer.
How much UMD do you need to use wands and scrolls on Amia? In Singleplayer, I have a pc with 2 UMD, they seem to be able to use wands, but not all scrolls... They are a cleric btw, as I know that makes clerical spells possible, but not necessarily arcane....
Does anyone have the rules regarding UMD on Amia?
Thank you!

-B I think it's 10+level, so 19 UMD to use 9th level scrolls. For the server, you need 25 UMD to use everything. This value is including the charisma modifier and any other source that increases it.
