//Um. Not really? It could very well have a slit in the top to accept that you can't reach in to get things out of,and be locked to prevent full opening, like most "Confidential ballot box" type things. I kind of wonder why it's such a big issue when the ones who made it haven't complained, and why it needed to warrant a huge snarky OOC post, myself.

Today I was assaulted by a man with a Greatsword and Wolf-Pelt...

Two Hin simply walked off before he assaulted me...

I'm sick of this.

I -really- am.

Why does the Militia, and by which I don't mean seldom few who bother to help, stand by and ALLOW the Dale's citizen's to get attacked and killed?

If there is one, ONE scratch on any other of our Hin members, I'll turn vigilante.

Enough's enough!

WE ARE NOT PETS TO THESE PEOPLE!

DO SOMETHING NOW.

The man with the greatsword is Jandar, he has already been banned from Bendir Dale lands by order of Mayor Missus, for failure to follow Bendir rules, failure to comply with Bendir Militia, and the murder of innocents on Bendir lands. He is aware of his ban, and may pass through, or use the carts, but not allowed to linger, or enter the gates.

Posted next to Dian's note:

I had been fighting this fight, but those who are willing to stand up and do something tend to burn out before too long and fade back into silence. I gave up. I speak up when necessary, but I stopped expecting most to do the same. You and I and the very very few others are a rarity in our town. I've actually been mocked for caring. Also, see my code name in the militia.

*A note would have been handed to one of the gate guards on the outskirts of Bendir lands by a white haired and red eyed man*

I give my sincerest apologies to the mayor of Bendir Dale, for my behavior and threats to those while on Bendir lands, but Aiseth threatened a woman I care about with violence, and Ryrik wished this woman gone from the isle as well, dead or alive, for no other reason than she left his faction, which I hear is a joke, and many of its members have left. I am not requesting for my ban to be lifted, I am merely apologizing and stating my reasons for my actions.

Godo was in the Dale, by the carts. At first he refused to leave, saying that he saved Crow's life and that Crow said he was allowed in the Dale. After a few firm commands to leave, he appeared to leave. (I'm not stupid enough to discount the possibility he came back without my being aware.) I got a confirmation from Crow that he said no such thing to Godo, proving that Godo was merely lying again.

Also, I was informed that earlier a green-skinned hin acted as if she had some sort of authority in the Dale, but had green skin, spoke of the Dark Flight, and is supposedly an assassin. I cannot recall the names of the people who reported this to me, but they are people I see in the dale often enough to recognize them by sight. If I get their names later, I will file an addendum.

//Alright everyone. I'm going to do a bit of forum moderating here. I've stickied a thread at the suggestion of Penguin for IC notes to officials. Please note these are considered public knowledge. Private notes as usual should be PM'd and I've referenced in the sticky that you can identify whom to PM by referring to the "Know your Leaders" thread in the Lore forum where Bendir Dale has a listing. At this point it's me but as updates occur In-Game new leaders can have DM's modify the entry to provide the pertinent information.

This thread should be used for Incident Reports ONLY not general banter. The box has a slot so non militia persons can stuff reports in there but they wouldn't know what other info has or hasn't been reported. As the Box is located in the Town Hall you aren't picking locks or jimmying the thing open. If you are banned, please do not post in this thread as it's unlikely you could get to the Box. Please do not metagame the contents of this Report Box. As noted, only Militia Members and the Mayor can read the contents.

The green-skinned hin that Rori reported is Mirago. I have asked her to leave and to not to come back to the Dale. Her scales are not pronounced as of yet, but were visible to my eyes. She initially called herself Alice, then Angela. But I believe Mirago is her real name since she seems to have caught on that I can see through her lies.

Reporting a goblin by the name of Godo in the Dale today. As I understand it he's not allowed on Dale lands, and further more he was attempting to lure out local rabbits from the Dale to kill them after being told he could not hunt or harm them on Dale lands. He persisted for some time using carrots and cabbage to try and make the rabbits follow him south but I kept them from doing so and insisted he leave. He darted off shortly after it was apparent I would not relent.
Note of thanks to a gnome by the name of Tuomas Valo for offering support in this.

Goblin was in the Dale. It has quite the disrespectful mouth and refused to leave when prompted.
Multiple times.
It had red hair, red eyes, green skin, and wore an outfit that favored pouches.
Its speech tends to lack a lot of consonants.

- Rorimac Beestinger

Addendum: The goblin left east. Then tried sneaking back in. It left east again once it realized I could see it.
Addendum #2: The taller called Talash is extremely disrespectful toward our ways.

Reporting Godo the goblin roaming close to the Dale again. He was stopped today as he was throwing firebombs around the forest in a rage. He seems to be offended that no one can trust him and has decided to cause chaos in return. Would recommend anyone spotting him within the Dale be on extreme guard and ready in case he tries to attack citizens or guests.

Godo came to the Dale, demanding we let him stay around.
I explained to him that his repeated harassment of us, his previous crimes against us, and his current refusal to walk away from his Llothite mistresses means that we aren't going to let him.
I told him if he were cooperative, and stopped serving Llothite drow, and proved to us that he was a benign goblin, we'd consider letting him stay at some point.
But he utterly refuses to leave his mistresses, so I told him that makes him an enemy of the Dale.

So he said if we want war, he'll give us war. That if we won't let him in the Dale, he won't let us leave and kill anyone who tries.

I've completely and utterly had it with him.

Here is a copy of a report I posted in Oakmist Vale:

Quote:
Regarding the goblin known as Godo:

Godo had disappeared for some time, even before I left to train, and came back fairly recently.
Since his return, he has made some (as much as a goblin can) attempt to assimilate himself into society. Virkelith and myself have had extensive conversations with him, in order to help him understand what to do, to be more accepted.

Godo was a slave of Lolthite drow, and seems to need someone to serve. This is evident in his desire to seek 'mistresses', which is high on his priority list.
For the most part, he has taken the advice given, trying to 'be nice', and not cause (too much) trouble.
Now, I know his history, I was there for much of it, and I know what he's capable of.
I also know that he really does want to become accepted, and try his hand at merchanting.
One of his problems, is that he sees everyone as being mean to him, when he's done little to provoke the attacks on him, other than simply existing, or running his mouth. (since his return).

Godo claims he only ever retaliated in self defense, which anyone would do. Whether this is true or not, only the Gods know, and they can decide his final fate.

Godo has decided that an ultimatum is in order, which I, and others have tried to reason with him, that it will only end badly for him.
Godo says that if he is not permitted to be in Bendir Dale lands, or the forest, that he will kill travelers leaving the Dale, and set fire to the forest, in an attempt to burn it to the ground. He also mentioned using massive quantities of salt on the forest soil. The salt can easily be diluted with water, so that's not really the issue. He is a skilled shadowdancer, and with this ability, he can set many fires over a large area, making it difficult to contain. He started a few small fires with alchemist's fire flasks, to prove his point. They caused no real damage.

Godo has stated that if he is given permission to be in Dale lands and the forest, he will abide by the rules, and only defend himself if necessary. He does want to be a part of society, and be left alone to pursue his trading.

I am not defending him, merely relaying the message given. I do have some sympathy for his desire to be accepted, but if he is not permitted, then he will be treated as any other threat, and be dealt with lethal force.

He now awaits to hear from me, on what the Dale and Malandria will do...let him try and be a part of society, or face his war on us. I pretty much told him what the answers will be, but he does want an official declaration from the respective authorities.

I will post this in Bendir Dale, for mayor Missus to read and decide on, though I know what that answer will be.

~~Crow

Also, there is a large bald man, wearing a cloak with Bane's foul symbol, and bearing tattoos on his neck. He has used barkskin to try and hide this, and walked into Bendir Dale gates twice now. Last night, Missus chased him out.

Militia,
Be advised of Godo's aims. If you must confront him, try to do so in pairs with at least one of the pair adept at spotting Shadowdancers. He gets one warning to leave. That's his opportunity to avoid confrontation. Give him a minute to think about it but if he does comply you are authorized to dispatch him with all necessary force. //please follow Amia PvP rules!

Two can play this little war of gamesmanship he's starting. He desires not to take responsibility for his actions nor truly repent but to blackmail us into submission to his desires. If he persists, stronger actions his tiny malevolent brain cannot currently imagine await him.

As I was leaving the main gates, Vera called me to the top of the hill, where several people had Godo surrounded. Godo was given a fair count to leave, and when he did not, her and I attacked him. After I took him down, I dropped the carcass to the orcs.

I awoke today to see poor Sugarpaw being harassed by a Taller. She was fending fine for herself, when her family arrived and soon the Taller was harassing everyone, nearly provoking a brawl. I managed to split them up, however the taller started making racist remarks to me which I shrugged off. I walked away and was informed by Rosary this man has attacked Tall Dragon Crow before, so I asked him to leave.

In typical taller fashion, he refused, acting more aggressive. I gave him a countdown, then he started placing armour and weaponry on. Myself, Rosary, Plexi and a Shifter took him down and disposed of him.

We only know his name starts with 'G'.

Be on the lookout for a male human or elf entering the Dale with dark grey and red spiked clothing. He was wearing a skull helm which I told him to remove, to which he still had a grey hood and mouth covering on. He then turned a corner around the town hall and disappeared.

If this sneak keeps up this sort of behaviour, I'd recommend a banning. I'll update if I learn anything more.

Name Bartley Ruar, a human about 5'8", looks about 30 years old, light brown/blond hair with hazel eyes.

Keep an eye out for this weird mage sort. He's been causing trouble, harassing folks. Getting himself close to a ban after groping a young woman. I wasn't witness to it, but he reportedly earned an arrow in the gut from the act, which I'll overlook, considering.

If he keeps up his harassment and is intent on causing disturbances in the Dale, I'd recommend ousting his arse, before he provokes a larger crowd into slaughtering him and causing fights.

I'm going to summarize this as well as I can. Sevalthen Duskryn is banned from the Dale.

He spent the entire day today harassing and insulting everyone he could, including the militia and others from the Dale. Finally this came to the point where he was told to leave, at which point he blatently threatened our lives, demanding we remove him by force.

He then prepared himself for combat, even though we were being civil, and not backing up to prepare ourselves. Then, without provocation, he jumped forward and started massacring people. This monster, and he is one, is not to do anything more than keep walking past our land if he should appear.

6'6", White hair, Half-drow (though his skin is more pale than typical), wearing silver armour. His attitude is easily characterized as a holier than thou superiority because he thinks he's invincible and can do whatever he wants.

If he should appear and refuse to leave, do not stand around and become a target. Retreat inside the Dale proper, get any support you can, and then arm and prepare yourself as best you can to meet the threat of this monster.

DO NOT give him more chances than he deserves, and I'll make it clear that he only deserves one chance to leave. If you tell him more than once, you are risking your life as he WILL attack you to prove his [censored] up sense of dominance.

Enough of these monsters trying to bully us around our own home.

Bartley Ruar, human, 5'8", light brown/blond hair, hazel eyes, wears light brown and shiny dark blue clothing
and
Vincent (last name unknown), human, 5'10", dark brown hair, wears dark brown clothing

Both these two are on the VERY edge of being banned from the Dale and we need to make it clear we're not tolerating this crap any longer.

Both these men have been harassing and insulting people around the Dale, casting offensive spells, groping and harassing women, and overall not respecting the fact that the Dale is our home.

If either of these two continue to cause issues and don't stop after a warning, my recommendation is to ban them. If you don't, you will only spend the day as they purposely borderline our laws trying to keep an eye on them as they intermittently disappear, cast spells around the area from afar, and try and grab ass of any female trying to peacefully move through the Dale.

Once more - This. Is. Our. Home.

So, three representatives from troll people asked for permission to let their army walk through the Dale, toward the Mylock hills. We denied them access.

Chaos ensued.

We fought back about four waves. After breaking the fourth, we pressed offense into the Skull Crags. There was a huge portal on top of the hill, and we fought to it. There was a man with a greatsword who we believe to be named 'Gregor', who was about to make a manifesto about adventurers being stubborn, but I ordered him to be killed before he could deliver, because fuck that guy, right?

So, after he died, I looted his body. An army was about to march out of the portal, but we layered the thing with Disjunctions and the portal exploded in a huge boom, killing several people on top of the hill, excluding yours truly.

We had a sword with initials on it. It was mundane, but very ornate. Probably ceremonial. It had his initials on it, presumably, reading 'G.D.V.'. He also had like a symbol that Kira said was related to the Witch King of Vaasa named Zenghyi. There was also some stuff about the troll-people trying to get implements or something to bring a lich back. I guess it's all connected maybe. Oh yeah, then the guy on the otherside started talking. The badge had a permanent divination on it. Kira pretended to sound like one of the attackers and informed him the portal had been destroyed and Gregor was dead. The guy said he was going to mobilize for something. So, watch out?

Like I said, I robbed the guy's corpse naked. I don't know where the sword should go. It's not really good for a fight, I think, since it's all gemmed up. I'll send the magical scrolls I got (Stoneskin, true sight and disjunction) to distribute among the militia. Most of the gold and gems will go there too, with some going to Kibs to pay for repairs. Kira is going to hand over Gregor's badge to Tuomas for inspection and disenchantment. I'll keep a small chunk of gold since I was literally in the triple-digit funds.

Other people can chip in their reports too.

The human male, Vincent (can be seen with his groping companion Bartley), has fully admitted to instigating the civilians, and inciting a riot in Cordor.

Also, this riot in Cordor has made it very unsafe for ANY non-humans there. The populace will be hostile, and even resort to violence, against anyone who is not fully human.

Please relay this last, to all of our fellow residents, so that at least they are aware of the situation.

Myself, Missus, Crow, Adrien and Kurchin with others tagging along delved into the Mylock Ruins after a Mylock attack occurred.

The Cultists behind the Troll attack were there. We can confirm that they are worshipers of Orcus.

They had summoned a visage of a Lich, which disappeared shortly after.

Bartley came along and stole a possessed stone from where the Lich stood.

We also lost two of Holl's men, bringing us to three losses of our Militia from these fanatics.

Dian,

What involvement if any can you speak of regarding Vincent? Since his name is now out for arrest within the Dale, I want to make sure what we have to pin on him so he doesn't try to lie to us.

Specifically, did he cause issues during this event in the Mylock hills, and did he aid Bartley in his escape?

Even without this though, I will still detain Vincent if I see him. He's the closest link to his perverted friend and getting that stone retrieved.

We'll make these cultist bastards pay a thousand fold for the harm they've brought to the Dale.

This is just a reminder, don't actually say the undead demon prince's name outloud. It has summoned him before.

Two incidents today.

Firstly, there was a minor attack of undead upon the front gate of the Dale. These came from underground from a much larger horde of undead that were coming out of the ground.
This incident brings to mind descriptions of the one in the Mylock hills that claimed two lives of our militia men. Thankfully, no one was killed today.
A thanks to Brandy for holding the fort above so I could join the main battle below ground in the troll caves.
After waves of undead were culled, a stone was discovered. I did not get a look at this myself, but from witness accounts, it was taken by Aiseth to Kohlingen, so hopefully it's in the hands of those who can deal with it and investigate further.

Secondly, Vincent was present during this incident, and afterwards he came willingly into the Dale to speak in regards to Bartley's location, to which he promptly denied having any knowledge of.
Vincent claims that he got blocked by a lock door in the mylock chambers when he tried to follow Bartley, but didn't catch up to him to see where he went, and he's said very clearly that he's not seen him since.
If anyone has evidence to contradict his statement, please say. Otherwise he has been detained and spoken with and is no longer in need of being arrested per Mayor Missus' command since that has been carried out.
Vincent is very aware that he is on thin ice in the Dale and on the edge of being banned if he commits any more crimes. This includes a warning to him today of putting up pictures depicting Dale residents in intimate poses.
If anyone else says we should ban this piece of trash, I'll gladly enforce it. Until then, I'll wait until something a little more definitive happens. So far he's managed not to repeat the same mistake twice. He's a perverted arsehole, but a creative perverted arsehole.

Vincent was seen by Simi talking to a man I has suspicion being Bartley talking about how he didn't "sell him out".

He is NOT to be trusted.

Regarding his story, I was with the group in the Mylock Hills and we did indeed get locked behind a door that took quite some time to get open. Vincent was with us at that time. That's not to say he isn't merely sprinkling truths in with his untruths to make his overall tale believable. I concur with Dian that he's not to be trusted.

I will update the order on Vincent. The order on Bartley of course, stands.

Guys, why all the prancing around? We're not in the business of doling out mercy. If something concrete pops up, just ban him. I'll sign off on any paperwork.

I have the paperwork for you then, Bobrin.

Vincent, in continuation of his harassment of citizens of the Dale has been constantly placing paintings around depicting certain people, in one particular case, myself and Crow, in intimate poses. This is of course done against our will and without our permission.
His attitude also remains poor and uncaring, with frequent remarks aimed to irritate and overall disturb the peace.
I've hereby informed him that he's banished from the Dale, may not ever again go in the Dale proper, and may only travel the roads or carts without stopping to chat.
He took this as much as he has anything else, saying that he didn't care, and furthermore that he would be placing even more harassing paintings around.
I may bash his kneecaps later with my hammer if I find more around, but off duty and off Dale grounds of course.

Private Finntram Springhand

P.S. He may purposely try and walk the paths back and forth just to exploit the technicality of being allowed to travel the road. If he starts doing this constantly just to irritate whoever's on duty, feel free to pick up some gloves of lightning and give him a zap in the rear to get the point across that we want him gone.

Two humans declaring themselves the "TheJarian" brothers came through the Dale earlier today. They decided to throw Godo off a bridge for no good reason (which is ironic because he normally gives good reasons). I told them not to, having to demand it several times. One of these brothers grabbed his greatsword, getting ready to attack me.
What little shred of wisdom they had left seemed to convince them that doing such would be a deadly idea and they arrogantly walked off.
These two should be considered dangerous and to be watched. Both in faded brown clothing, one wore heavy armour with a greatsword while the other seemed to have more lose clothing.
They've been warned that if they threaten a citizen of the Dale again, they will be banned from our land.

One another note, Godo was around today, but he seemed well behaved, and even mostly well mannered. According to others he's tried to take a hard turn and change his ways by assisting issues at the Salandran temple.
Still, I'll need to see much more to believe he's changed. Today was a good start though. After the incident was over, Godo left.

A Banite by the name of Tazul was in the Dale today. I asked him nicely to leave and he said only if he could ask Ser Robert a question. He did, Ser Robert answered, and he left.

News has reached me that Godo has now murdered two mental patients at the Salandran temple. I retract my previous statement believing he was improving.
Godo can pretend all he wants, but he is a monster and always will be. He deserves neither politeness or leniency. He can leave our land when told or die as far as I'm concerned.

((As this seems to be the most appropriate place to post this))

A messenger arrives from Cordor, who passes a sealed letter to the gate militia.

Quote:
To the militia of Bendir Dale,

The Alpha Division Vanguard of the Commonwealth Scouts currently holds one "Bartly Ruar" - believed to have been supporting cultist activity in the region - in custody.

During preliminary questioning, the subject claims to have granted possession of the object to a tall, dark-haired yet unidentified man. A search of the subject confirms he no longer possesses any necromantic artifacts, yet revealed him to carry a tin of illegal pipe herbs - this tin has been confiscated. The subject attributes his lack of memories of the transfer to being under the influence of the herbs, and as such claims to hold no further memory of the unidentified man or the location where the transfer took place.

While the subject's actions may hold unfavorable consequences for the Commonwealth, due to his more known activities - and the threat of the cultists - appearing centered on Bendir Dale, I hereby invite the militia of Bendir Dale to travel to Cordor and take custody of Bartley Ruar.

Signed,

Lt. Aurelius
Commander of Commonwealth Scouts - Alpha Division Vanguard

Addendum: Please note that Bartley Ruar claims to have purchased the tin of herbs in Bendir Dale. These pipe herbs are considered illegal by the Commonwealth, and are confiscated when encountered - and may lead to further charges upon those who bear or sell them. I urge the Dale's authorities to properly inform customers of this good, if such are indeed sold within its territory.

Today a male elf with auburn hair, black blue and gold robes, a pale green cloak, a spikey bucket helm, and a red glowing staff, as wandering around the Dale (outside the gates) as a giant spider. I was in the process of shooing him out of the Dale when, still as a spider, he summoned a hell hound. When it was clear I was about to beat him into spider pulp, he ran south. I followed just to make sure he wasn't going to try and come back into the Dale when he unshifted and took his true form.
He was rude and arrogant, and in a display of his power, summoned a fiendish wolf of some sort. I warned him that if he came back into the Dale in a monstrous form again, or with summoned fiends, he or they would be slain.
Shortly after, after unsummoning his fiend, he came back into the Dale wanting inside the gates. I asked him what his business was in the Dale, to which he insisted it was none of my business. When I told him he wasn't going to allow him in, he explained he was going to trade things with Jayek who he's traded with in the past already. I informed him that considering his attitude and fiend summoning, if Jayek were aware of that he likely wouldn't like the idea of trading, but that aside his rude attitude and trouble caused, I wasn't about to let him in for such business, minor as it was.
He then decided to leave, but not before threatening us, to which I informed him that he is banned from the Dale for at least a week. The gate guards saw his appearance without his helm on, so they should be able to keep him out.
Just to summarize his various offenses:
Taking a monstrous form on Dale land
Trying to enter the Dale proper in a monstrous form
Summoning fiendish creatures on Dale land
    Threats towards Dale citizens
Failure to comply with requests made from the Militia

Considering he is likely of an evil faith, his summoning of fiends, and his attitude towards the Dale, I would ask his banishment, at least from inside the gates, be considered being made permanent.

Godo came to the Dale today. He kept trying to justify his murder of the Salandran mental patients as "self defense". Ya well he wouldn't have had to defend himself if he didn't break INTO their cell and hiss at them. Stupid creature.
He repeatedly refused to leave. I threw a couple darts in his direction to make my point clear after he shadow jumped up the hill slightly but was just looking down, not moving to leave. He hissed at me and I told him his warning was up. He danced into hiding and I used an item to change myself into an umberhulk. He was arming himself for battle, so I used the inherent abilities of the umberhulk and confused him. This made him attack and leave the shadows (as I had intended). It was a simple matter of beating his face into a pulp after this.
After I was done, I dragged his body south and kicked it off the ledge to the orcs. It was reported that a man who is often in the area though revived him. I believe that man's name is Talash.
Hopefully the beating I leveled on Godo though will keep him away for a while.

Some tallers got into a fight outside the Dale. One of em, Davin, said an elf Ronnie attacked him with dual rapiers. Before that they got into some insulting match over some kobold named Jynx. Witnesses place Ronnie at fault for being aggressive. Davin was able to subdue Ronnie apparently, but Ronnie and Jynx had already left by the time we got there.

A young hin, about 3'4" tall arrived into the dale with three large paintings on his shoulder. He placed them next to the report box, and covered them with a sheet leaving a note pinned to it.

Quote:
I found these here paintings just up the hill outside the gates, near the Drow shrine and in the Orc frontier. I aint sure if the depicted individuals are happy with these, but i found them fairly inappropriate and they're painting (Hah! Get it!?) our people in a bad light!

*A note is left in the box for officers to read*

1) A volunteer is asked to step forward to pick up Bartley and bring him to the Dale for questioning.
2) Finn - Does the Elf have a name? That would be helpful for documenting the Ban. Good job getting rid of that Godo.
3) Snooki - Since there were no witnesses to the acts, it's all a bunch of "he said, she said", so I'm going to let it be unless more evidence comes forth.
4) Leave the paintings for Luckii. I could leave them in "lost and found" but some kid will end up looking for a lost toy and end up with more than he bargained for.

A quick reply as I'm somewhat occupied today.
- I will volunteer to get Bartley as soon as I'm able, unless someone else wishes to step forward first.
- The elf I mentioned never gave a name, only a snarky attitude.
- The paintings of Luckii can simply be destroyed. They are meant to harass us, just as the ones of Crow and I are.
