The creed of the Living Guard is simple: maintain order, protect the Living City, protect its inhabitants, and protect the knowledge within its walls. Enrollment in the Living Guard can provide ample opportunities to obtain both rare knowledge and personal power. The High Captain of the Living Guard will consider all applications from a wide variety of skill sets. Payment by ranking is as follows:
-CENTURION- 30,000/week The Centurions are entrusted with further responsibilities and as such are given the highest salary of any contracted member of the Living Guard.
-WATCHER-20,000/week The Watchers are the rank and file of the Living Guard, they are to uphold the Laws of the Living City and maintain the peace. As such, their payment is higher than that of initiate.
-INITIATE-10,000/week The Initiates are not full members of the Living Guard, but rather possible recruits who are under review. As such, their payment is at the lowest bracket of any member of the Living Guard. Initiates taking well to the guard can expect not to stay in this bracket or rank very long.

Comes in to check the board on a recent bid her eyes catching a glimpse of the notice.

Gerald can be seen making his rounds, updating the postings and, for his part, trying to display an active presence in the region.
