Hi guys! I'm goin to cry in a minute because I want to play amia and I have been trying to play since Friday! I am running windows 8 on the laptop and the system specs are Wayy higher, Checked the graphics card and updated it, (AMD a6 Radeon) I can login fine, however I cannot see doors to open or see the trigger to go in, (smiths place south of cordor) and I tried other doors, non existent, also when I done my chars hair it shows it up silver no matter what I pick, I have installed all .haks an .tlc and checked overrides too, Does anyone have ideas? Because I'm going to summon a Bigby crushing fist and end it all! Hopefully I want to be playin properly by tonight, it's 2.45 pm in the uk now  Thanks in advance guys.

Don't worry, the answer's simple and I experienced the same thing when I returned to Amia! Ok I got ninja'd, though in case:
- Do you have hybrid graphics? If yes, then also make sure you have the good driver for the CPU graphic card.
- You are surely sure that you don't have folders in folders in override nor hak? (just checking)
- Did you remember to upgrade the game?
- Try messing with graphics settings (textures quality) in game

Oh ok! I downloaded the GOG version, isn't it already updated then? Thanks for replying so quick!

Nope! I downloaded GOG and yes you get Neverwinter Diamond Edition but only as it was per download. The Silver Hair/Tattoos, invisible doors and probably lots of white boxes around some items and/or crashing when you enter certain areas are from the lack of that patch. Everything you described happened to me when I returned with my GOG version without that patch, installing the Critical Rebuild cured it and I've been running it flawlessly since!

Downloading the patch now, it's goin to be very hard for me being IC when everything works fine out of excitement! Really reassuring thank you! This is mainly the reason why I come back to pc gaming and I like a nice tiefling wench too ! Thank you!!

No worries! I'm 99.99% certain the patch'll fix your problems, it doesn't sound like you're having compatibility issues so this should hopefully work. I think we should have a sticky as, while it may not be that common of a problem, I know myself and others have downloaded, patched with NWNpatch and downloaded the .hak without realising we still need to download the critical patch.

Definitely! Your site is brilliant for the .hak setup however I been running around harassing DM's and googling stuff since friday! I got a good feeling that there will be a few more people coming onto the server too Good idea to make this a sticky though
