Deep within the city of Nec'perya bards these cycles may be singing about the great Matron Mother who plans to force skum into worshipping the most revered Dread Mother herself. Upon hearing a song about this, Miz'ri decided to make a provocation, before things got too satirical. She spoke authoritatively, milking every inch of her ego, on the edge of the cliff, facing down towards all who would listen.
"In the upcoming cycles I require you, my children, to aid me in arms in the depths below in my attempt to dominate the Skum and bring them under our Dread Queen's domain. As you know well enough by now, it has been too long since we've been at odds with the rather outrageously overpopulated Skum, so action is required before they make the first move.
I urge you to find your courage, underwater gear, and your weapons, because primitive beings that only know slavery can act in ways that cannot be predicted. Even in the worst case scenario, we are no worse off than if they woke up and decided to attack us the next cycle, this is just a decisive action that needs to be taken, to help secure Nec'perya, and remove the massive threat that has plagued us for too long.
Using any means necessary, we must prepare for the worst case scenario, as we already been doing all these long cycles. This might mean Skum in chains walking down our streets finding their way into service of the Dread Queen, and it might also mean them mounting an attack with at least one of their factions on the city. In either case, or both cases, we must be prepared for the result. Consider this your call to arms, and we will be contacting them very soon.
Rest assured that the fate of Nec'perya will be glorious as it rests in the hands of the Dread Queen. We simply would naut have it any other way! May we succeed with glory and pride of the drow! This is her cavern, and those Skum belong to HER! LLOTH TLU MALLA!"
No doubt after her speech, she stood there, gazing over all the attendees. Many drow have been afforded the luxury of complacency, when dealing with the skum, so perhaps the sudden plan of events might've caused post-speech discussion in the city, and certainly all would end up being involved if they so chose it.
