O, definitely. Kaithan's new authorial project is titled "How To Win Friends and Influence Dwarves, Drow, and Half-Orcs." It's sure to top the Cordor Recorder best-seller list.

Giving this thread its roughly monthly bump, for some shameless cheerleading!
Thanks to Mith (and Isis), Shyllia, Pang, Brokilon, Lithen, Gaelruil, Delia, Nyacelil, Velden, Aealiel, and Selikean for hanging out in Winya with me tonight! Half a year ago, Winya Ravana seemed like a total dead zone, and it was dire and dark and dour and depressing. But for months now, I haven't had to even go past the Falls to get some glorious elfy loving, and that is awesome and I <3 you all.
For those of you keeping score of such things, that's no fewer than twelve PCs, buzzing about the City and chatting and scheming and RPing. And that's only counting the elves, not our couple of human visitors. And it wasn't even an event night or a DM plot or anything. Elfy Nation is super go, and I'm really super thrilled to have the chance to RP with each and every one of you. (Yes, Gaelruil, even you. )
(Hint, hint to the DMs: there's a lot of player base here, which has managed to keep fairly active despite an absence of DM handholding. Imagine how primed we are for some DM loving! Come on, surely there's got to be a DM somewhere who looks at a thriving, untapped player base like this the same way my nephews look at a fresh box of sidewalk chalk! )

And oh, I forgot to mention: the new library and moon tower are finally in, and they look GREAT. Thanks to Mahtan for his typical awesome work. Seriously, people, wherever else in Amia you're playing right now, it does not look any prettier than Winya.

I really wanted to come in here and give what Liz is saying a bit more voice. I've only been around Winya for 4 or 5 months, and even I have seen some transformation. Perhaps it's just having more pointy ears about but many Elven players have come back or otherwise have become more active. It is a really diverse crew of players and PCs, ranging all different styles and timezones.
Better yet, it is still a growing place where one can really leave a visible mark with enough support and dedication. I have several 30 on this server on multiple game and forum accounts, and my Winyan PC is the only one I've kept with to grow and nurture alongside her peers. Wouldn't you know it, it is the most basic, mundane PC I have!
If you get the itch, really consider giving it a try. If you do not feel comfortable with Elven lore, start basic like I did so that you might learn and grow alongside the PC. It might surprise you and become your most believable character that brims with untapped potential.
Thank you fellow Winyans and those who role play with us for a truly positive experience.
