*A leather Velvet Red scroll case is left hanging 9 feet up a young oak tree along the path towards Bendir Dale. A large circle (two feet or so) of fresh earth is directly in front of it.*

*After several days, the fresh earth has been moved about and dug up by animals in the area (probably wolves). The hole and leather scroll case quite visible from the road and close to Bendir Dale*

It being quite above the normal view for halfling no one seemed to notice it until the animals began digging beneath it. A hin, small even by hin standards, with wheat colored hair and bright green eyes and very poor eyesight doesn't see it either, or the hole the animals had dug.

A rather quiet thud can be heard and then cursing that would make a sailor proud as the small hin face plants the ground, tripping in the hole. She rolls over and catches sight of the odd case, well more a red blur hanging high in the tree. Being a hin and suffering from a serious case of curiosity she sets about finding Acorn to get a better idea of what it is. As far as she can see it could be someone's dinner, skinned and hung to cure.
