I'm looking into some of the other feats that Shadow Dancers get, specifically some that apply to shadow dancing monks. I want to do something cool with my shadow dancer monk but have no idea what. I think there's a prestige class for something like that, called Shadowmonk, but I know virtually nothing about it or how it works. I was wondering if anyone has any good sources for me to pick at? Please and thank you!

Care to elaborate a bit? A Shadowmonk just sounds like a Shadowdancing Monk as opposed to a PrC.

There's a homebrew PRC called Shadowmonk but it looks like rubbish in addition to being homebrew. As for better sources, I'll take a look and see there's anything worth mentioning after I've slept!

Ooooor, you can look into the new 5th Edition D&D. The base monk class gets into 'shadow' stuff as one of their chosen 'combat styles'. Maybe some ideas there for you.

If you look into the book 'Tome of Magic' it may have some interesting idea's for you on prestige classes on its 'shadow magic' subsection. I hear their is also an academy full of those dirty SD's going into this kinda thing too, that may be able to more easily guide you IC with efforts.

The Shadow Magic Section from that book is actually pretty solid. I can't remember off the top of my head if it is one that would be considered Shadow Weave magic (There IS an important distinction there, as that ties into some kettles of fish which you don't wanna screw with). I am pretty sure they do give a lore blurb covering Faerun for that though, but I am not 100% certain (That could've been in a web-add on)

As I posted in another thread, much of what we use in the SD lore is pulled from the Tome of Magic. It isn't used exactly as it is written, but it is a very good basis to work from.

Thank you all for your suggestions I'm not sure if using 5th edition stuff would clash with 3.5 edition, but I'll give it a read. I actually haven't read any of the 5th edition stuff yet so I'll get on that. I'll check the Tome of Magic as well.

And Kamina, I'm essentially looking for cool and innovative things/feats/items/companions that I could possibly RP towards in relation to Shadow dancers, specifically monks that embody the class. I'm pretty clueless at the moment, so any help is appreciated.
