Am I the only one that, for the past few days or maybe a week, has been getting absolutely incredible amounts of lag from the server? It's not my entire net, because youtube seems to load just fine, as do my por- I mean, educational videos. What gives?  I can't help other people murder fire giants with the laggg! _________________ Osiris Masud

We are hoping that with an upcoming update, the lag and the crashing will diminish. When we have done that we can assess things a bit more closely.

Rough idea:
1) Finish update to module content (not live).
2) Add new hak content to module (not live).
3) Full build of module in toolset (not live, should squash many issues).
4) Update the live module with the above changes.
5) Wait a week or so to see how things go with the new hak.
6) Address any issues with the new hak.
7) Take as many areas as possible and set them to load dynamically like the Ash Caverns, Timberlands, and Guldorand itself have been (without issue) since my last update. This will reduce overall module size and load time, reducing the stress on the server.
Hopefully this will resolve many of the issues, and should be completed by the end of January or soon thereafter.

I don't notice any unusual lag...Seems like living in Europe has its upsides after all

In Asia, no lag here. Just issues connecting but I put that down to my crappy ISP.

I am experiencing kind of lag... Whenever I move or someone else moves.. Or if I am hunting and moving... I have this kind of a lag.. It's not smooth way the camera moves, but kind of like it jumps between frames or something.. I've tried to set my resolution differently but it remains..
Anyone have any kind of idea what this could be about? >.<'

Every time I have re-installed nwn, I get a different kind of lag. Now, I have combat lag.

I found fiddled with my sound settings solved all the 'lag' I suffered wth for an age once.

I just realized that, at the very least, my computer was downloading FF7 unbeknownst to me, on Steam. It just finished this morning.
Maybe that contributed to my lag, but I thought I paused the download before... Either way, the good news is, I can finally play FF7 for the first time. WKEOADJWIEAFJIO RGI$#HJT#$(U(8571389
