According to Amia law, is it illegal to ask for a specific DM to talk to? I spent about an hour reading over the rules and saw nothing. Could have missed it of course! Simply curious. Thanks.

It's not illegal, but it also depends on the issue. You may have to settle for an available DM, if the issue warrants it, I imagine.

Not illegal, but select DMs deal with select things so that might alter who you talk too given that is their field of expertise or what they were placed in charge in. But if that's the case any DM you ask will direct you or forward it to the correct DM in question.

We are not the 'Amia Legal System' by the way.

That said, if you prefer a specific DM to talk to, that is your choice. 'Shopping' for a DM is bad form though.

Maybe it's just me, but aren't these two statements contradicting? Like, 100% .. "It's okay to try and talk to a specific DM. That's your choice. But if you do, that's bad form."

No, he's saying Yes you can technically go to a DM you like, but its not all ways the best option because your more or less saying to the DM you decline to deal with "I don't like you, or I think your bad at your job , I'll wait for the "good" DM to log on and deal with them instead"

Do not make general discussion posts for the community to chime in on when you were talking to me on behalf of the DM team on this issue. If you have questions, you can politely PM a DM. Locked.
