Requires a Divine Mythal, which is evil because there only available super rare in DM events.
Here's a question...
What IS a divine mythal? What does it let you do?
A divine mythal is a massive chunk of a mythal. The largest piece available.
http://amiaworld.net/about/Mythal.html I can give weapons on-hit powers, special damage resistance, or it can give weapons special visual effects (holy or unholy).
But what are the values? What sort of on-hit powers? I've seen the chart but 'special' is hardly desciptive. Holy weapons I've seen, what does an unholy weapon look like?

I don't know why the team didn't list the exact effects, so I'm guessing the answer will be "Find out IC."

Is there a merchant that allows you to sell the ranged weapons the bowyer creates? I've seen on for pretty much everything else you can collect, make or refine... but I can't find one for ranged weapons. In the end I just trash those I'm not making for people!

I might be wrong, but I think I saw bowyer in Kohlingen.
Bowyer only teaches as far as I know and isn't a merchant. There is a melee weapons merchant a few stores down were you can sell melee weapons you make or have them valued... but he doesn't do ranged weapons.

Are the onhit properties all the stuff you can request for a custom weapon?
You can request them, yeah.
If I understand the question correctly, he wasn't asking whether the listed stuff can be requested, but rather whether the listed stuff is the complete roster of everything that can potentially be requested.

Bards have the ability to cast the incantation "shadow walk" (fifith circle ability) at a certain level. Just out of curiosity, if, with proper roleplay, would it be possible to have bards who learn from a shadow dancer how to do such to be able to obtain a spell or widget that will allow them to do such?

Yay, quoting myself! I find it odd that Kohlingen actually has two melee weapons merchants... literally next to each other! One in the market and one in the forge and yet you can make melee weapons, armour and ranged weapons all in that area but can only sell the melee weapons and armour! I end up trashing the bows i make OOCly as i can't do anything with them... which is also hard as i can't find a trash can in the city area!
Is this all by design or is there actually meant to be a ranged weapon merchant some place? Does such a merchant even exist? Kind of strange if there isn't one as i seem to be running into merchants all over for selling the other stuff the jobs system produces!
I actually have a further question about the bows i can produce, most have some form of property, though very minor, on them but at least two of the wood types you can use just produce normal bows... is this intended? If so then i can only see that the job is there just to provide a way of gaining xp as no one would produce a bow where the base item used to make it actually costs more than buying a basic bow and pimping it yourself!

Some items are more powerful than their base items, just are. Like the Cloak of Fortification has way more powers than a Cloak can have. (+4 AC +4 Universal). Some items are just /made/ in the Module to be more powerful.

If you're responding to me... I mythalled that. That hood is 100% different than it starts out. If not, then yeah, lots of items come with things more than the mythal system allows for. But that is: +3 will (1 power), +3 reflex (1 power), +1 con (1 power), for a total of 3 powers, which is normal for a hood.

Ah- if you mythaled it then there's your answer. I thought it was pre-made on the hood. But yeah- many items are made powerful, far more than a forge can do.
My question wasn't about pre-made items, it was specifically about mythalling. If Kolde put both those saves on that hood, that goes against what Tormak said.... leaving me more confused.

You should be able to add two +3 individual saves to the same item without issue, assuming you do not exceed the mythal power limit of the item.

I can confirm this. I'm not sure why Tormak said what he said.
Yeah I think it's supposed to say you can't put the same bonus on there. So you can't do +1 Fort and +1 Fort (or Uni and Uni; or even Fort and Uni I think) but you can do different regular saves; skills should be able to be added as needed as long as they are different skills.

Flurry of blows works with the staff, but no longer with shurikens? Why is that?

Job trainers are one for each job? Or like... max three of one job? I'm currently looking for some and I cant find them in any "logical" place. However I dont know all the Amia.

Depends, some jobs have several trainer NPCs in the module, and some jobs have at times had none at all, when areas get removed or whatever. It's kind of silly that people are encouraged to hunt down the trainers IC, since there's no meaningful interaction to be had from them and it's stupidly implausible anyway that a character could pick up a whole complement of functional job skills in the four seconds it takes to complete the NPC's conversation.
What trainer are you looking for?

Anatomist Armoursmith Weaponsmith aaaand maybe Herbalist (haven't looked, not sure if I will take it)
I dont really intend to lvl up or gain money via them, but I personally see Job system as supportive RP system, that helps to describe character and abilities my PC might have and use.

I spent a number of days looking for an Anatomy Instructor too, thinking ther surely would be one in the Salandran Temple. Turns out there is one in Cordor, in the Hospice, South Cordor. Armor and Weaponsmith I think you can find in the Craft Hall, if not, there are instructors in Barak Runedar.

What does this mean?-
There is now a room linking off the Login room. Just like the Domaintenance and species assignment. There you can use a headchanger, Portrait Changer and Voice Changer to edit your character. This will cut down massively on the Letoing for the Dm's.
If you need anything letoing other than the above bit, say your roleplaying a character with one arm you still need to leto request it.
Dynamic is about area's. It means that if no one is in them the area resets. It also means the server doesn't load all the area's when it starts which should help with crashing, especially when a DM logs in. ( I think on the dm bit)
