I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but can't find it.
Can a mythal be used to apply a lesser abiity than listed in the mythal crafting table? For example, can a Greater add +1 Ability Bonus instead of +2?
If I have an item with just one power left to add, but I don't have an Intermediate mythal, only a Greater, I'd like to be able to use the greater to just add +1 Str. Does it work that way?

No it doesn't work that way sadly. If you need a different one and can't find one just ask about on game ICly as people are always open for trade and such.

I'd like a clarification on something, please!
Okay... can you, as a character sneakily post a letter in public without any chance of detection in a City/Town/Community? I mean, to me, that's rather op. No one could detect you? Especially in a very visible place. To me, that's like saying "I'm a sneak, you can't see me", even though we have many, many spotters on the server who would most certainly see them.
I'm asking for official word, not really opinion here. I just need to know how my character would proceed in a certain situation.

Not without a request to the DM team expaining how and the DM teams approval seeing this involves NPC too if you claim 'noone' saw you. In posts this is tricky in general if your character was not really in game and did this in game too because they might have posted this while someone actually was there in game (PC wise too which the DMs cannot know) who had 110 spot and True Seeing up.

Don't completely understand Stoneskin: Quote: Description: This spell grants the target creature damage reduction 10/+5. The spell absorbs 10 points of melee damage per caster level, to a maximum of 100, before collapsing. How do the DR and damage absorption work together? If an attack's damage is entirely negated with the DR 10/+5, does it still count against the total damage absorption limit? Examples: 1) Attack from a +3 weapon has damage of 9 pts. That would be entirely negated by the DR, but would those 9 pts still deduct from the total damage absorption? 2) Attack from +3 weapon of 20 pts. The DR would negate the first 10, leaving 10 pts of damage left to absorb. Do the entire 20 pts count against the absorption, or just the 10 that exceeded the DR? I used to think that all damage counted against the spell limit, but now I'm wondering if only damage that bypasses the DR counts toward the absorption.

Quote: 1) Attack from a +3 weapon has damage of 9 pts. That would be entirely negated by the DR, but would those 9 pts still deduct from the total damage absorption? Yes. Stoneskin weill absorb a maximum of 100 points of physical damage, 10 points at a time. Quote: 2) Attack from +3 weapon of 20 pts. The DR would negate the first 10, leaving 10 pts of damage left to absorb. Do the entire 20 pts count against the absorption, or just the 10 that exceeded the DR? Just the ten that went into the DR. The "Stoneskin Pool" is decreased by the amount of damage the spell absorbs, so if you get hit for 20 damage 5 times, you'll absorb 10 of each hit, leaving 50 damage left in the "Stoneskin Pool". If you get hit for 5 damage 20 times, Stoneskin will absorb all of the damage every time and then collapse, having taken 100 total damage for you. Quote: but now I'm wondering if only damage that bypasses the DR counts toward the absorption. The opposite. Only damage the spell absorbs counts.

1) Does Stunning Fist work as NWN standard? Any changes here that aren't listed in the sidebar? 2) Does Improved Stunning Fist feat improve the DC of the special attacks in the sidebar that are based off Stunning Fist?

Honestly that would make stunning fist builds really fun if not hyper powered. The DC stunning fist build can get like a 52 and it gets pretty hilarious. But it's to the detriment of all their other capabilities.

Keep in mind the bigger it gets the higher the name floats above its head. Some models are funky in that just a 30% size increase puts its name into orbit.

Question: How much dragon blood can a character have before a special race request is necessary? I know half Dragon is absolutely necessary, but what about 1/4, 1/8, etc?
Also, 1/4 or 1/8 dragons... how much "dragonny" appearance would they have?

Anything more diluted than half-dragon has no visible dragon traits (unless you submit a request, or take Disciple levels). You can say you're a quarter dragon without a request, but you don't get any benefit, and you weren't born with fangs or anything like that. You just look like a normal person.
That's just how it is on Amia, ever since way back when!

Where and how would I submit that?

Let's say I wanted a 1/4 Dragon, who becomes a DD. Would I need a request to say they were the progeny of say.. Lareth, the famous Gold Dragon of FR? I would think dragons wouldn't stick around and "play house" so much as do the deed and move on, perhaps only meeting their ancestors if the ancestor sought them out.
Just how far can you go without a request on this? I'm fine with writing one to have a backstory approved, or I can just make up some Gold Dragon name.... just thought the flavor was kinda nice. Not that anything really changes.

However, I'm curious why you'd deny a request that hasnt' been written for a backstory that gives a character literally nothing. I'd imagine Lareth has hundreds if not thousands of grandchildren and great grandchildren, to me, claiming nobility in some land in Faerun carries more weight. Perhaps I'm wrong, and I'd like to hear the explanation, please.

Because nowhere is it stated that Lareth has non draconic children, and I don't think it's appropriate for a PC to be the descendant of the leader of the entire race of Gold dragons and one of the most famous Wyrms in all of Faerun. It carries an incredible amount of influence. I would deny someone being the descendant of any named dragon or NPC for the same reason.

Any named Dragon... not sure what you mean here. Been talking with Jes, and she has a char that has had something to do with an ancient Gold that she created apparently. I don't have all the details, since, my character wouldn't know... but would that be alright? I mean, my char would know the name, and a touch of history on the Dragon, but... that's it, and to mine and Jes's knowledge, this Dragon has had no influence on Faerun or Amia to speak of.

Any named dragon means exactly what it says. Any named dragon or NPC in Faerun's lore. That means no Lareth, no Klauth, no Nexus, no Tchazzar, etc etc. Pretty self-explanatory imo.
You are generally expected to make up your own, yes.

I didn't say that. I don't know anything about the mysterious random Gold Dragon made up by a player, and you should also probably have the consent of any player you end up involving in your character's backstory.

Tormak, I said she and I were working together on it. The dragon is Nveryiothavraex, something she worked on in the past. Or should I just make up some random name? I was simply using existing lore, but , if it's better to just make something up... I suppose I can do that too. I do understand about the famous dragons though. I was just hoping my character could know the name and a bit of history of her ancestor, that's all, not looking for anything special really.

As an aside, I gave That Guy my consent for him to use one of the dragons I made up in my PC's backstory. There shouldn't be any problem here, I think! It's just flavor and only one PC will even recognize the name (unless someone is crazy and remembers the one time it was written down or spoken to them IC).

Does the 1 DC for appearance change to an existing item include items that aren't visible on the character model?
Like -- if I wanted to, say, get my recently acquired +6 saves amulet changed to be a Holy Symbol of Tiamat and get an amulet image that worked for that. <_<
Incidentally, if so; what appearance 'would' be recommended for such an amulet?

Yes, the item icon can be changed. And I recommend a little steaming pile of dragon dung, since that would correctly represent all the draconic colors smushed together

There is Ruathymi language for Ruathym, including Wiltun. I know there is at least one Mulhorandi language for Khem, possibly more. Amia might have different dialects, but the island isn't that big, and populated by a lot of non natives. I'm not the expert though.

Wiltuners/Native Ruathymi speak Ruathen, which is a language derived from Illuskan but sufficiently different that it is considered a separate language.

What's the current rate of burning DCs to level now? The sidebar says something that sounds ridiculously low and I'm pretty sure it's higher than that.
Also, how come my DCs don't automatically tie into new logins I make? I'd think they were tied to my CD key for convenience sake. Do I have to get ahold of a DM to ask them to move some from one account to another for use?

1 DC per level from 1 - 20, 2 DCs per level from 21 - 30.
And DCs are tied to an in game account, so yeah, you have to ask DMs for a transfer. (or just make a request and notify them that you will pay with DCs you have on another account. Both works).
