Yes! Thanks for the party! And most of all, thanks for everyone who organised it! I know Sylvesi, not sure who else, so I'll call you out. It was fun! Sadly, I was pretty tired today, and my school day was, of course, terrible after one and a half hours of sleep. But, I'd say worth it! (And my own choice, so you don't need to be sorry about it)
Also, before te party, with Trickster and everyone else who I talked to, that was nice too, though I admit I wasn't really concentrated that whole evening.
Of course, also props to HoJo. It gave me the opportunity to have my 36 hp, level 4 to die last in a party of 30s. I guess I don't understand any of the context, but the stuff after the party crashed was interesting. Guess I have to ask IG for some context, and hope I ask the right people.

@Elmmaster, Clander Blake, Alexander, and all the people who have interacted with the baseball-bat -wielding longest-name ever elf yesterday. She may be an old character, but there was a bit of new life breathed into her. I think the best was the event after a rp/hunt session; especially when Miakoda had to repeat to everyone like they were retarded that someone had kidnapped that elf. Other than that? Wading into demons with a level 9 who ended up dying only thrice, same girl who was able to --to quote the movie Signs-- "Swing away Merril."

And to a very lovely hunting session with Aurora (whose handle I can't remember and yes, I'm a dick and no, this isn't their handle)! You know those rare times where you get to role play EVERYTHING in a dungeon? Start to finish? "Hold up... this place has more traps than 4chan in 2010" Like, that kind of- okay, wait, no... that wasn't said in game but you get it. I got to do it. Be jealous. It was tight, Aurora Orcsbane.
I've had a lot of fun as Syllah with all sorts of people like Aedan, Ryvvik, Nyx and Ivar! And to the group I ran with in the bloodmoon orcs, who actually roleplayed the entire time, and didn't just silent grind- I don't remember names but I love you <3
I was also especially impressed that the large group of RPers in Wymrhold Ruins dealing with a dangerous situation allowed 3 clueless lowbies to wander up and take part in the event, no suspicions or accusations.

I would like to say I had a blast yesterday at the story telling event at the grove. It was simple, fun, and helped me end my nwn session with a smile on my face It's a shame I missed the 40 last minutes or so of the event though :/ (workshift was over)

Glothar and Drarin for their argument and resulting Feud, working out how to deal with it has been interesting! Krimmor for his Blatant and unapologetic Greed and Evil, and yet not giving anyone any evidence. Wvimer, A+ for grumpy yet wise dwarf. Keep it up! Bolrid Burntbeard, for despite not being the highest level of dwarfs sticking with us and throwing grenades about like rice at a wedding. Arglar Ironclad, A wonderfully militant cleric Cloak Rockhewer, Whilst not a dwarf, he provides our quota not only for arcane magic, but for really skittish and well played Svirfneblin, a brilliant counterpoint to the militant dwarves. Luddir and Vrundar Orinsson - Whilst we don't see you often, it has been interesting RP with Whurak when you have been around.

Exactly 8 years ago I've found this server out of nowhere by just picking it kinda randomly at the GameSpy List...
A lot happened since then. Good moments, bad moments, tearing moments from something very serious or sad but also from happy things and from laughter.
I've meet a lot of awesome people that I would like to really thank for all those moments. I am sure I will meet even more awesome folks on the years that are yet to come.

Bolrid Burntbeard is a fantastic character, the concept is brilliant and the execution of a crazed dwarf armed with grenades is hilarious.
Also... I feel like some recognition is needed for the dedication to the play style. Master Scout equipment isn't cheap, I have never seen this man use anything other than a purchased grenade or Master Scout grenade.
