This mole business ain't got nothing to do with the way the Dale be run of late...I'm having none of it.

Rico seems to be on the edge recently, claiming that something is watching him as he sleeps, like he commited a Taboo.

Johanna got to her mail and shuffled through each item. Having seen nothing from Lyle yet she sighed to herself.

"I bet he's doing this on purpose" she thought to herself while pouring out some seasonal wine. "He know's how little patience I have for this sorta thing".

Looking thoughtfully into the log fire sipping her wine, she has a sudden mood swing and throws her glass angrily at the flames as she got up from her seat, grabbed her cloak and face mask and headed out to the stinking streets of Cordor South for inspiration.

*Mayor Nof can be heard walking about the Dale...commenting and congratulating the Folk on their fine work during the Mole attacks. No Militia lost their lives and none of the citizens were left behind when higher ground was sought.*

In fact, I'm going to donate some money towards helping you get some staff in to keep the rooms in shape and replacing the keys.

Some of the militia regulars at the Hin Inn can be heard making crude jokes about lustful tallers and snakes in bed.

Belladonna is seen less in the Dale of late as she spends more and more time north in the forests and amongst the vale, but on occasion she can be seen going into the classroom and departing with a book or two.

For anyone who would look closely the books are written in hin and would seem to be a guide to the elvish language. Other book would appear to contain what might be simple elvish text as she tries to get to grips with the melodiv language of the elves.

Someone is planning an event to attack Bendir Dale on Sunday, I suggest all milita and anyone else who would ICly normally be around Bendir to watch this topic for when they set a relative time so that they don't "win" just because there are no PCs around to deal with them.

Bella comes skulking into the Dale and shakes her head on reading the notice.
She passes up to her rooms quickly un noticed by anyone, before quietly slipping out the back way to disappear into the night.

Early this morning, his house can be seen broken into. The door burst from it's hinges, his entire house ransacked with parts of journals, some weapons and armour he's aquired, and various things broken and missing. Rico has not been since the discovery of the break-in.

Thistlefoot was in the process of rebuilding yesterday when the DM helping him do so crashed. When the DM crashed Thistlefoot lost -all- his gear, equipment & supplies. ALL OF IT. The DM in question is working to resolve the issue but until that time Thistlefoot is out of commission. He would have been there for any attack on the Dale if it weren't for this. I ask that no one please use this OOC incident to dislike Thistlefoot even more IC for not showing up to defend Bendir. He would have been there.

Belladonna can be seen of late consulting with various senior figures from both the Grove and the clergy. A worried frown can be seen on her face almost constantly these days, as if something weighs heavy on her mind.

*Tremmors can still be felt...slight and distant, but ever present. Waiting...waiting....*

All Dale citizenry,
The lingering essence of the defeated necromancer who a year ago destroyed our old beloved Townhall is, I believe, responsible for the stunted and lackluster plant life on the site of the former Townhall. This lingering essense prevents the full bloom of nature and impedes any attempt to use such soil as a foundation for agriculture.

I've worked over many weeks and months to bring life to vegetables planted in the soil from the northern Dale to no avail. The essence that remains must be purged so that it's safe for children to play there, animals to feed, and in my hopeful estimation, for farming to succeed in this unused but potentially fertile section of our Dale. I am therefore creating a drive to collect massive quantities of blessed water to wash away and purge the land of the foul taint that remains. My hope is that with the help of the followers of all Yondallas children and the hard work of our stout hinfolk citizenry, that this land will once again become an integral and vital part of our community.

Donations of Holy Water can be dropped outside my room in the Hinn Inn. A cleansing ceremony and blessing of the land itself is planned in the near future. All hin or gnomefolk who desire to participate may contact me directly.

She walks out and is seen in the area near the cave some moments later with Din Dae the second and Don Dae Junior. She looks around, not doing anything but observing.

He makes regular inspections of the Militia posts, checking the local folks and their preperations for the next attack from the Moles, and he has been seen pitching in with the cooper...trying to make sure that the barrels given to Okra are ready for him*

Rico has been omitted into Saladran temple.

After having travelled with Rico to the temple and delivered him safely inot the hands of the Salandrans, Bella becomes more quiet and withdrawn as she waits to here the outcome.

She returns to concentrating on the craft of her new arrows, still trying to get the composition right.

To all this may concern.

A rare serpent seems to have made it's home in the dale in a hole leading under the Hin Inn. The cobra can be sometimes spotted entering and leaving the dale through the gutter in the wall in which the small stream enters the dale. The snake slithers in a length of a bit more than a meter, its tongue is colored in a dark shade of blue and its dark scales are flecked with teal spots. Most field mice have disappeared in the surrounding, some of their skeletal remains being found near its nest, which gives off an emerald glow. The source of the light seems to be an emerald light gem that lays in the hole.

A small object is left near to the hole, for any with the lore or plant knowledge they would notice it as part of the Belladonna plant. A note is then left in the town hall that reads as follows.

To Whomever it may concern,

The newest resident of our beloved Dale is under my personal protection, I would ask that you do nothing to agitate it. It is most unique amongst it as I have never seen another of its kind.
Anyone who offers unrational or unjustified harm to the snake will be making and enemy of me, please do not do so.

Belladonna,
Be advised, you shall also be responsible for any harm done to Dale residents by this snake. I take a very dim view of potentially dangerous animals taking up residence in populated areas of the Dale. If it threatens or bites anyone you'll have to explain yourself to me. I recommend vigilance on your part to avoid an unpleasant discussion being forced upon us by said snakes behaviour.

Willow frowns when she reads that Bella is talking about is a snake. She says to herself:

A snake in town? If Bella is protecting it, I would assume, I would hope, it's not a poisonous one... Not in a town...

Willow walks off around town as if looking for someone.

Anyone who should see Bella on her trips abut the Dale and Oakmist would notice a few odd things about her of late.
She would be missing her ususal brace of handaxes, now only the one can be seen strapped to her right thigh, her back is no missing the short bow that she would hardly ever be seen without.
She now carries a shield all the time on her left arm and she tries to keep her left side covered as much as possible whenever she thinks someone might be looking.

scheduled for TOMORROW at Daybreak.

Citizens with skills in the Divine Arts are asked to have your blessing spells prepared.

I have collected ample supplies of Holy Waters to sprinkle about liberally throughout the entirety of the Northern Dale area during the services to aid in the cleansing of the soil of the foul necromantic taint that sickens our plantlife.

Frin can be seen wandering about with various books from Muck's shop. If anyone cares to take a look at the books she would be seen with various material on manipulating the weave, and the arcane for beginners. She has also traded in her mace and shield for a magic staff, and plate armor for loose fitting robes.

most of the guards, as well as any hin keen on noticing things, have seen Nick spending alot of time at the pub just outside the gates and over the bridge

When Madock learns about Frin's disapearance, he immediately decides to attempt a scrying attempt to find out where she is. He talks to Fendel to ask for him to let Madock into Frin's room to try and find a piece of her hair. Afterwards, he prepares one greater scrying and one spell of message (wizard cantrip) to talk through the scrying //madock has 1 wizard level//

He uses the fountain next to Yondalla's idol as his Focus and casts the spell. Presuming she fails a Will Save of 41 her image appears in the fountain. Madock then casts Message and asks her a number of questions, starting with. Where are you? Are you Safe? Do you need help? and if she is kidnapped: How many of them are there?

Hmmm... Yes, development at last. Time to push those ideas we've been discussing for months.

*After the Mayors Adventure with the Mylocks, He called for the Militia to clear the Mylock Hills. After the Heroic band of Hin rescued the Mayor and then destroyed the Mylock leadership, the Northside of the river has been clear of Mylock raiders.*
