The following letter mysteriously begins to be seen posted up in all surface cities, in all major areas of towns and business, some of the fliers even blowing madly through the streets.

To the people of Amia:
As all of you are, or should be aware, the Black Caravan has declared war on the Kelemvorite Temple, and also deemed all of Benwick Hollow a war zone. As someone who was present when the incident that sparked the war took place, I was deeply saddened by the Kelemvorites lack of thought, tact, and planning in their attempt to apprehend a known criminal.

The Black Caravan was fully in their rights to seek out their revenge on those that had interrupted their trade, and ultimately interfered in free commerce. That is no longer what this conflict is about. A verbal agreement was recently made between an official Black Caravan representative.

The opportunity to discuss this agreement with Boss Sil’yer was denied, even though it was directly requested. The agreement outlined that Sharina Fryar of the Kelemvorites would voluntarily hand herself over, to end the conflict, and restore peace. Restore peace. Such simple words but consider the small Shrine settlement, the sacred grounds of the Salandrans, and the innocents residing in Kohlingen’s holy city. The Black Caravan entered a binding agreement of oath to cease fire, and is bound to honor it.

It is their responsibility to uphold the promises one of their prominent representatives enters into. But they would rather senselessly destroy a temple, and an enemy that has already been defeated, and has already admitted to being overtaken and dominated.

But perhaps they have no honor. They certainly don’t believe any of you do. When asked if they thought their profits would suffer over their refusal to honor the agreement, they claimed you have no honor. That Amia is nothing more then an island full of adventurers more concerned with the next item of power they can lay their hands on through coin, then honor and integrity in their actions. Is this a true accusation? I’d like to know! Don’t stand by any longer and let the Black Caravan treat you like you’re nothing but moral less empty faces with no other purpose but to empty your coin purses to them.

I beseech the people of Amia to rise up and reclaim your integrity! Take back your voice, and demand that the Black Caravan hold themselves to the same standards of behavior as yourselves! Is not the spoken oath as binding as the written word?

The Black Caravan believes they hold power of you, and your coin! I say no one should have such sway, least of all a corrupt empire of merchants who would be as bloodthirsty as to destroy an already surrendered opposition. This is no longer about whether or not the Black Caravan was slighted or threatened or even within their rights of declarations, but about ethics of war, and respect for their customers.

They have this unwarranted power because it is given to them. I plead with the people to see past their greed and desire for items of power, and take a stand for justice, and sound business practices. Boycott the Black Caravan today, and let your voice be heard. I'll put my name down first. I'm not afraid to stand alone.

Claire O'Reilly,

While surely we in our organisation do understand your worries, no boycot on trade can be made by ourselves. We have no agreement with the Black Caravan, nor do we have plans to make any such, but a boycot would go against our own code of conduct.

We hope only the best for the innocent people of Benwick Hollow, and wish you luck in your endevour to save them.

The Factor,
Universal Trading Co.

*Willow picks up a flier, and chuckles softly, her elation only grows, however, when she sees the messege left by the Factor.
"Hmph, and they call -me- a hypocrite. No wonder they didn't reveal their indentity.. I wonder if it was that man who quietly bought a sword last night.."
With that, she turns back to her 'undoubtedly' important business.

While making his way through the outlying towns, Drakos spots one of the flyers and stops to read. After rereading it, the drow released a sigh before discarding it and walking off.

So, in response to the breaking of an honourable agreement and preparing to purge all that remain in the area of Benwick Hollow, they seek to boycott them

The drow could not help but chuckle at the thought, no doubt the Black Caravan would make up for the loss of profit in what they pillage from the ruins of the Eternal Order and anyone that stayed behind.

*Alynne finds one of the fliers and as she reads it, she smiles.* well, I only bought one single item from them, and I honestly can live without it. I wasn't thinking on doing business with them anyway.

*Delarwyn reads the note she found in Cordor*. Good, I think at least we will cut some of their profit with it, less money to be used in a war. I honestly think it a good thing.

*Ayla reads one of the notes shrugs and think*. Who cares who they kill, if I can put my hands in a piece of good equipment, it would only help me and my business. If I only found a way to profit from it all.

*Angela Eire reads the note and nods*. A good thing, I am thankful I never bought anything from them, they always looked too suspicious to me.

Xyrkha wandered along, reading through the letter on one of the posts in Cordor's wharf-front. Adjusting her uniform as she stood there.

With a shake of her head she inwardly thought.. "What does honor have to do with business? One should be ruthless in both war and business. The Kelemvorites fanatics on this isle are a terrorist organization of illogical zealots, causing damage to commerce and trade along the isle, hiding in their fortress temple and murdering arcanists in gruesome ritual murder and torture. Actions have repercussions. I hope not one stone in their temple is not left unturned after what they did to me."

Rras mumbled as he was eating on a leg of roast veal and eyeing the poster with a snorting exhale. "Keep bulling people and not taking account of your actions gets you smacked down by someone that can kick your tail. I'm guessing after their antics they're not gonna have many come help em anyway. Ah well, not my fight. Besides, them Caravan folks ain't no bobby-knockers. " The half-dragon shrugged and kissed his Brassy-icon of a grinning dragon that dangled about his neck. He shrugged with a fangy grin and wandered off.

After making a poor commoner on the Cordor streets read the notice over and over and over for him, Jack grumbles.

"Who the feth is this person anyway, I don't like randoms shoving their noses into business that's not theirs."

While he does not give a reply to the topic, Weston passes by on chance of the notice left up to be signed or noted upon. Although, seeing this one, he rips the simple blood-signed letter down. It is a likely a one-time effort though to have such a chance. He heads off with mutting "They were clear in their words. The war is coming. But better that it be resisted too... In the end, though, prayer be that the harm done is minimal to those innocent."

*Sin pulls off a flyer that's blown over the visor of his helmet, and in annoyance starts to close a fist arround it, but then stops as the word 'Black Caravan' catches his eye. He reads it and then frowns in displeasure*

"Boycot the Black Caravan..? Suuuuure. The petty things people take offense to these days.

Must be boredom..."

*notices are spread out through Cordor, and to the wilds of the island, bearing the symbol of Bane on their backs*

~Declaration by The Church of Bane~

To the people of Amia! The Church of Bane has taken notice of this feeble attempt to try and disrupt The Black Caravan's trade. The fuitle efforts of those who support this boycott now risk their lives. As of right now, all those that join with the heretic Claire O'Reilly shall also become enemies of The Church of Bane. The Church shall be relentless in it's task of disposing those that would stand in the way of a lawful trading group and those that would side with heretics of the Banite faith!

Lookin the latest declaration over with a half amused smile Karl adds a small note to the Cordor merchant hall boards;

By the grace of the Banite scum I join the boycot, Karleron Undt

Willow reads the notice and shows little emotion in reading it. She doesn't sign her name but walks off muttering to herself in Hin.

I don't need to sign a name and make myself a target to boycott those war mongers...

The petitions are replaced with fresh copies. Apparently Claire doesn't care if anyone signs or doesn't signs, as long as they read.
