It was requested by a player that this entry was deleted as it seemingly is a home made deity.

As a google search revealed nothing what so ever related to any deity by that name I am so far inclined to agree.

Now I am posting here to see if anybody ever have either heard of Oshivah before or know what the orginal author Alyaamaxis had in mind when he made this entry.

If nothing comes up within a week the entire entry will be deleted from the wiki though I will save a backup of it just in case.

Homebrew to my knowledge.

It says it's supposedly related to Salandra, which is also a complete homebrew, so yeah. I've never heard of it before though.

Yes, it was made up by Alyaa Maxis as a deity from a far-away land worshipped by the character's family. You could delete the deity entry and remove the [[ ]] from the deity's name on the character's page. Maybe even add a footnote to the deity name * Unknown in Amia

I would rather see the Amian Wiki as at least partially reputabler, not full of player created homebrew.

I quite agree, a homebrewn deity could cause confusion among newcomers to both d&d and the realms. I have always regarded the wiki as the players striving for providing a lore true easily acceisble source of information for both amia, parts of realms lore and the various player characters.

As its been confirmed now the entry will be deleted, though should the author wish for contents he can contact me either here or by the email stated on my wiki profile.

I don't see why we have an Amia-wiki apart from the unique history it has and the factions that run on it.

If you want lore, go search Fearûn and D&D stuff on a Wiki in a Google search.

The Amia-Wiki is so incomplete, that I don't know what use it is. The only thing I really got from it, is how to play certain races/subraces.

because it is fun? and the fact that the FRwiki is the crappy fourth edition. It is useful, if needing alot of updates, but still our wiki is useful.

What Herkles said and well it doesn't hold much Realms lore right know apart from what plays absolutely have to know. If it should hold more Faerûn lore it would have to be a decision to be made for it to include more general realms lore.

I would like to point out that the AmiaWiki has the most extensive online entry on Sharess anywhere. Granted, it's a mix of information from different editions (esp. regarding the planes), canon and non-canon sources, and even some stuff I've made up myself, but I've at least tried to reference everything.

And I'm damn proud of it.

Bringing an old thread back alive as I am currently going through the various small wiki pages.

There is a lot of uncategorized pages and some pages with just a name on it. I am going to start weed out in them as I find them. So if you have a really old page with nothing on for some reason now would be the time to try add something to it.

The amount of blank pages is simply too much and the wiki reallys needs to be cleared of all those.

I believe it is. I've gone there and done what I usually do for wikipedia and tweaked spelling and grammar before.

*nod nod* If you are having a fleeting fascination with... Faerunian national dishes, then go ahead and write something. I got it into my head that I had to put together one for Ultrinnan, so I did. Wiki pages are just lovely.

Yep yep and feel most free to start adding stuff to the wiki.
