Is that class not allowed in the server? I'm just wondering.

Yes, though I've not seen anyone use it.

Psh, do it then? Just because noone has done it yet why not do it? People dont do it because its a horrible class to make a powerbuild with, everyone builds their charaters at one time or another by power they can provide. Easy way to spot the strong classes over the ewwwy ones :P

Heh... Wait, powerbuilding?

Yeah, some like that.

You want that class? You got plans for it? Seeking RP? Do it!

I did the same with Harper Scout. ^^ Can't say it's got a bead of use yet in battle but so far so GREAT with RP bonuses on possibility.

My harper scout is actually quite nasty in battle...and has even defeated the odd pure mage. Sure, she bled all over him and blinded him before finishing him off but it was fun!

Qirlan never forgave himself after that...hehe...

I have a PDK. While the other stuff could use a duration boost, if nothing else, Heroic Shield is so good that once a lot of people have experience with it there will be calls for it to be nerfed.

Status Mage + PDK with Heroic Shield + Called Shot spamming AA + Curse Singing Bard = massive AC boost for the tank.

It lasts ONE round. That's shorter than true strike. How much more do you want to nerf such a worthless skill?
They should be modded to make them actually worth being a PRC.

Have you ever used it?

On the surface it looks like a worthless feat, in practice it is quite powerful. HS is a Free Action which means you can use it every single Round regardless of whatever else you are doing, where you are on the map or what your current status is.

Not only does it work from portraits, the only thing that prevents you using it is death - and I mean the only thing.

I know of two people with PDK's, one was Demented, who played Kas'udi. The other was Kicker.

Now I have an image of a guys being helped to his feet after getting wtfpwnt in the Wiltun sparring pit and wondering why the four guys in jodphurs and red jackets standing up on the battlements are giggling quite so much.

There's a thought, does HS stack with itself? Four PDKs spamming HS on one person...

Bastions of war beefed up the pdk a bit, now the class is so frigging overpowered everyone is using it. Im tempted to make a build with it the extra ab is so nice it's such a pvp/boss killer class though.

In WCoC I did. I dunno but I don't dig the idea of spamming clicks every 6 seconds to bump someone's AC.

I mean, good lord, what if I mistimed and for that 1 second window, my tank was 4AC short? A dev crit could hit and kill him and it would be entirely my fault for not spamming hard enough.

Okay, okay. IF THEY ARE ALLOWED, then how come I cannot select it during level up? I have all the requirements to become the class.

And "drat" is a word. It's a less cursing version of "damn it".

Obviously you don't fulfill all the requirements.

I'm sorry. I really shouldn't have said that. It just irritates me, I'm sorry again.

I mean, I've achieved everything, I even took a class in rogue to assure I had persuasion and intimidation. I have the feat for Mounted Combat and the +4 Attack Bonus. Yet, it still didn't come up.

And how would I achieve it? I'm a little confused on what that process is?

You don't. Or you would be a PDK.

Common messups: Do you have required skills in *ranks*, not mod?

Do you meet alignment?

Do you meet *Base* Attack Bonus? This isn't your AB, it's a separate number on your sheet/

Yes, I meat the Alignment: None Evil or Chaotic, I am Neutral Good.

Yes, I have the required Ranks.

Yush! Demented with her Kelly Paladin, Skye. Was hilarious to see all the OOC banter and questions about the orb thingy over our heads when she used the +4 AC ability.

Alas she's left the server.

This is kind of a fair point. PvP is almost never fair or in an arena so getting lucky / having the upper edge doesn't always matter. You can RP and build as you feel without too much worry if you don't mind not soloing spawns.

Grammatically incorrect to use yes - no is correct. however, it is used as a colloquialism. "Is it not" is a structure like "Isn't it", in which the negative seems to be ignored for the purpose of modern spoken English.
So if you want clarity ... best to take Azrael's suggestion or expand on your answer.

But as it is, go with whatever class you like.

The class can be taken. It is not bugged. I speak confidently and truthfully because I do know I'm right. You do not meet the pre-reqs. If you did, you could select the class.

I think the most common mistakes people make with pre-reqs are confusing BAB with AB and assuming that you can take a PrC as soon as you reach the required BAB, in this case +4. A Fighter, for example, reaches 4BAB at level 4, but you cannot take PDK until level 5 because you don't meet the requirements until after you have leveled up.

Also, I sort of remember the PDK pre-reqs being misquoted somewhere, whether that's in-game or on the NWNWiki I don't recall, as saying you need 1 in one of the Skills when you need 2. I might be mistaken about this one.

They also have a very stupid pre-req - you need 1 Ride and Mounted Combat, among other things, to qualify... but you need 2 Ride to qualify for Mounted Combat.
