I keep seeing people with "Outrider" or "Horsemen" in their names. But I have yet to see one horse on Amia. I guess I just want to know how can one be a "Horseman of the Apocalypse" without a Horse. I think "Footman of the Apocalypse" would better describe them. Just a thought. Have a great day!

I believe the "Horsemen of the Apocalypse" is a play on the Biblical Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Death, Famine, Conquest and War.

Remove the headpack and you'll have the headless horsemen. Has a much better ring to it.

What is that movie, I think it's Monty Python where none of the knights have horses so they ride around on sticks? That's what I am reminded of everytime I see a "Horseman" or "Outrider" I can't help but crack up.

Monty Phython the Holy Grail.
Yes the knights have no horses so they skip along with their servants clapping coconut halves together.

I believe it is a Biblical reference to be taken figuratively rather than literally.

Are the "Outriders" or "Horsemen" biblical?
I think I'll start a gang, what would be a good name?

I was giving the OP the benefit of the doubt and assuming that s/he actually thinks it would be a good idea.

Just seems like senseless ragging on a faction's name is all.

They cause severe client side lag anytime a horse appears on your screen, even if its the same horse in the same area that's simply left your LoS. Add in the fact that ride is simply broken as a skill and a feat, and you have an unusable feature. Might work fine for single player, and it's a shame paladins lose their mount, but it's really not suitable for multiplayer.

I like the name. When they came to Story Night it gave me an excuse for Ruce to spin off a poem/song about their 'overly close relationship' with their horses ifyouknowwhatImean, nudge nudge, wink wink.
They have full penetratrative sexual intercourse with equine animals.

Pretty sure that is it, maybe an attempt at humor.

I assumed, after you said that there was no point, your statement was intended to be humorous rather than malicious.

There aren't any horses on Amia because the restorative formulas on Amian raise scrolls can only be scribed on tanned horse hide.
....any questions?

O calm down.
You make a name that is by nature a paradox (The Horsemen on a server/island that lacks horses) and expect not to get some joking banter thrown its way?
Next thing we know people will grumble that hittnig your head against a brick wall hurts
