Bahh the server just REST i came back in the FOD and i lost all my EXP for the level i just gained i was 23rd just dinged and when i came back i had lost exzaclty 22k what i needed !!!!!! why did i randomly lose a level whats going on can i get it back pls somone help me.

It was a small loss. No more than 1k.

I lost mine too. XP, not level.

Just go back hunting.

1k is not hard to get.

i lost 22k and i dont get to play much that means a lot i should eb able to get that back somehow if its a legitamate crash

Sadly, not much we can really do about it.

We can't prove it, and sadly, we can't just accept the Word of Many.

22k? I don't think it was that much. A character is saved from time to time, and in mere seconds you couldn't have gotten 22k.

It's impossible to lose 22k, because it's impossible to gain that much XP between the save times. I think the server saves every 10-15 minutes or something? You could barely gain that much XP by leveling with DCs in one save, because you need to level up between eating the DCs.

That said, we can't reimburse without absolute proof, I'm sorry.

If you're a shifter or use polymorph, this can happen. I used to get that alot. Make sure that you manually save every now and then just in case. Just takes two seconds to hit Rest and Save my character.

Have you tried leveling with a shifter after we blocked leveling in polymorphed form?

Nekhy, i think he meant the 'polymorphed characters won't be saved' message.

Hence the need for a manual save ever so often.

Ahh. I thought it could be some bug in leveling while polymorphed, which shouldn't be possible any longer, but could have been possible before.

Did you actually take the level, and if so, what's your account and pc? I keep track of levels when they are taken so you'd have your proof there.

I already checked (I'm a crafty girl, digging up game accounts), and there's nothing in the records that does not match what Leto shows, class structure wise. Not sure of the exact XP amounts.

Why was a 22 getting XP in the FoD anyway..? 22k in there would be far more than just 4 hours (one reset), you'd have been making what, 10-20xp a kill and easily outrunning the respawns.

Probably referring to the general area (i.e. illithids and Beholders as well) rather than solely the forest proper.

in the request thread it was worded a bit more clearly.

they were elsewhere, and when they came back in after crash, they were in FoD. probably hunting beholders. I could see that, ive gotten a ton of xp in beholders, near 22k actually during one timespan

and if he's the undead shifter in front (cough) his char would not have been saved

If you get 22k in 15 minutes, there's something very seriously broken. Put it in TtC please, with more details?

oh, 15 minutes? no way ive gotten that much. it was more like 2-3 hours.
ive never used a shifter, so i dont know how they work with saving characters. But if it didnt save once during the entire reset till crash, then i could see the issue coming up.

level lost after a reset....
