*handwritten and posted in the usual places, as well as slipped into the pocket of the paperboy.*

A person calling himself the Black Bandit of the Bramblewoods has been sighted repeatedly just North of Cordor. Citizens are warned to keep their wits about them in this area until the Bandit can be brought to justice.
Reports indicate the Bandit is approximately eight feet tall, three hundred pounds, and duel wields great swords. He is sometimes seen with accomplices.
"I thought it was the end of the world!" one unfortunate village woman bemoans, "the world went dark.... fires spurted out of the earth... and then there he was!" After recovering from a faint, she says "His voice was like velvet, or what I think velvet would be like. I gave him all I had! My three gold!"
However some say the Black Bandit isn't in fact the Black Bandit. One senile old gentleman, upon hearing of our investigation, came into the office and told us "That's not the Black Bandit! I'm the Black Bandit! Well I was, back in the day. And when I broke my leg, I passed the outfit on to this young upstart, like it had been passed on to me. Boy I tell you, when the real Black Bandit hears about this, there's going to be hell to pay!"
Shortly afterward, (no pun intended), a hin woman came in claiming to be the bandit's mother. She has this message for the outlaw, "Honey! It's your mum! Just come home, before somebody gets hurt!"
