Hi, not sure where to put this but:

Is there any way for an elf to "walk" without encumbering myself?
I cant enter detect mode to move slower so the usual way is out it seems.

Thanks in advance.

Hold down shift and click

And also assign a key to 'walk' if you like ... default is w = 'run', but you can just go to keyboard settings and assign walk to something.

I changed my key setting so that I can use the WSAD keys as my charachters, and for the most part it works well. it also leaves my mouse open to be the running method.

Hold shift button and click on where you want to go.

Or go use toggle the stealth mode.

In your keys. Set "Strafe Forward" To whatever you are comfortable pushing to walk forward.

I personally use the Space bar. It's normally Pause in NWN, and since I don't play single player, I never use it and thus rebound it to Walk Forward.

I use 'w' for walk and 'e' for run
