I'm fairly new to amia, I was wondering what kinda jobs should a low level take to make some extra coins that is more consistent.

Whatever job fits the RP of your character. No job pays high enough to really do much with. It's all about RP flavour.

Difficult to advise you without knowing more about the character you're playing.

I'm with Cori & Blur...all depends on your character's RP/story/background. Give some info on the character in question.

Don't take the Big Game Hunter though. It will be like "Hey mister, I'm soon on the third season and I'm looking for a place called the Yuan Ti caves. Can you please point out the direction? I have an enemy to hunt down and kill there".

Mind that I still have this idea for a Dung Collector, in case you are really out of creative options...

Read the job page and figure out exactly how the job works. Think about what you want to do with it and how you will use it in your RP. For jobs like Scribe, Preacher and some of the materials merchants you may only need one level if you are just looking to supplement your RP or if you plan to focus on other jobs. A gathering or processing job should probably have at least 2 levels unless it's a sideline or else you're potentially wasting 50% of your time and resources.

Be aware that you wont have your full 30 job points until level 27 (I think) and figure out in advance which ones you want when and how many levels of each. You can have total ranks as follows:

321
31111
2221
221111
21111111
1111111111

I really wish there was slaver in the job system.

That's correct IIRC.

Ill have to agree with this for my Johann Paladin character..

I was thinking on going, Templar, Witchhunter and now I saw that Preacher existed too..

(To bad I got 'weaponsmith' before knowing how the system works, so it seems Preacher is out...)

Try asking a DM for help. I'm sure they can oblige you.

And if you really mess it up, don't despair. It's possible to start over with the jobs, if you explain the situation to a DM.

Yup the Wonwon was a major help in that one a few days ago.

Not to self: alchemy and anatomy are not the same.

That's a very important lesson learned, especially when it comes to your own anatomy.
