Should one possess a keen eye or be kneeling close by the altar to offer a prayer, said individual would find nestled amongst the offerings of wild animals and unknown humanoids is a piece of hide upon which a short script is written:
High Hunt. the time has come for us to hone our skills and test our finesse.
// Probably going to do one within the week so this is a IC shout out for any malarites/hunter types that are interested. You could post here or pm me so we can find a time to meet up.
And for those who dont know but are interested what a high hunt is: http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/High_Hunt

//*grins hugely* What are the rules for hunters and for prey? I know there is a boon for prey who survive. Also what's the course that the hunt will run? i.e. From which point A to which point B?
What's allowed and not allowed? *hugs and hopes your hunt goes off better than an earlier one did*

// Haha, thanks. ^^
Just going to attempt an impromptu one i guess - grab some random fella then set them up on B for release.
So far, the gist of set up is this:
-Prey gets brought to Fort Summer.
-Prey given back their equipment and a starter kit.
-Prey gets an option to flee. If they choose to do so, Malarites/Hunters gives the guy a head start. If victim chooses not to, melee ensures.
Rules are pretty simple:
-Malarites/Hunters gets 24 IG hours (48mins Real time) to get the victim. If the victim/prey manages to survive that long, subdude the hunters or reach the designated town (Endir's Point), they get granted a boon.
-No use of the portal rod cos its going to be confiscated after the victim gets captured the first time.
-No heal potions? Instead, I kind of think regen items and time wasted to regen back a portion of Hp should be the alternative.
All these are susceptible to change of course depending on quite a few factors. Depending on the number of hunters involved and who the victim is for example, stipulations could be added or the set up be abit different I guess.

//Reaching town probably shouldn't be a win since it is so easy to just run through areas and just get there, even if someone is chasing you.

// I guess that's true. I guess hide-and-seek cum tag is going to be more fun then straight up tag.
Well, in a "Im gonna gut you when I get you" fun way.

Left before the altar is a recent addition amongst the sacrifices to the Beastlord.
Clad in full plate, the humanoid is a stark contrast to the other various wildlife by the altar.

//will it be a person you're hunting? Could it be an animal? Like someone's familiar? If so, I'd volunteer my panther.

// hehe that's a refreshing idea, even though lore wise, the "mark" is supposed to be a humanoid I think.
Just finished finished one, so I'll definitely wait some time before the next one.
