I found this when I was being curious about a character concept.
Champions of Valor wrote: Secret Moondancer
Countless drow live in the Underdark under the thumb of the Spider Queen, but a small number of them know there is another goddess who will answer their prayers, a benign goddess who loves them -- Eilistraee, the Moon Maiden. Usually these drow live in evil communities and must keep their heretical worship secret, but out of earshot and within the privacy of their own homes they teach their children about the good goddess who dances in the moonlight. If they're lucky, these drow eventually flee to a safer place, either living in small surface communities or in bastions of Eilistraee's strength such as the Promenade near Skullport.
Region: Cormanthor Drow, Menzobarranzan. Automatic Languages: As region. Bonus Languages: As region. Favored Deities: Eilistraee. Regional Feats: Cosmopolitan, Daylight Adaptation, Fleet of Foot. Bonus Equipment: (A) masterwork longsword or masterwork greatsword; or (B) masterwork chain shirt; or (C) faith token of Eilistraee (see page 64).
Probably a useless search but...
Does anyone have more information concerning this Prestige Class?
EDIT: I don't know if the entry is short because it is in the website (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20051111a&page=4), but would be more complete in the book.

That is about all that is within the book. They mention a small eiliestraeen shrine but not really much is mentioned about them. Though while we are on the subject of Eilistraee I did find this little tidbit of info in demi-human deities.
Demi-human deities wrote: The followers of Eilistraee are figures of legend in both the Underdark and the Lands of Light. They are the subject of superstitions and wildly inaccurate mistruths, held by surface dwellers to be the evil vanguard of the Spider Goddess's plot to plunge all of Faerun into darkness under her rule and held by those drow who follow the Way of Lolth (or other evil gods) to be faerie (surface elf) invaders masquerading as dark elves in preparation for the coming war of annihilation. Rare is the individual dark elf or not who appreciates that Eilistraee is forging her own path, one that welcomes beings of all races who revel in life and the free form expression of all that entails

Yes, they're basically a carry over from the old speciality priests, Sword Dancers, from 2nd Edition:

I have no idea. Champions of Valor introduced many new prestige classes, valorous organizations, feats and substitute levels that didn't exist before, with little lore to support it. I wager it's the same case here, or it's simply a translation of 2e Specialty Priest kits like Sound suggests.
