Large pieces of fine vellum are tacked up in city squares and outskirts, anywhere regularly traveled, in a hand that seems to be naturally messy, but forced into legibility by sheer dedication to each letter of script.

"Recently, the Red Wizards of Thay have dared show their faces yet again on our island. I write this with a bottle full of a child's ashes in my off hand, ashes that would still laugh and smile if his life was not ended so violently, so callously, by the force of the greed of the Thayvians. I would sooner die than let these people feed their coffers with our gold, expand their influence with our endorsement, or grow their nefarious powers to an extent where the tragedy at the Corordian Orphanage could be repeated.

I beg of you all, do not forget the blood that was spilled the day the Thayvians set fire to a structure housing so many helpless innocents, blood that still stains, and will forever stain, the Enclave's hands.

They attempt to trick the people, saying that the events at the orphanage were everything from accidental to an outright lie. I know that is not true, as I felt the heat of the flames and the Red Robed mages flee into the sewers like roaches, dragging even more children with them to die in their last attempts at escape. The Corordian government made an executive decision, backed by popular demand, to ban them forever from inside the city walls. I know I am not alone in my remembrance, as many citizens of Cordor poured water on the inferno in vain, their hands touched the charred corpses of children. I beg of you, do not forget that feeling. Do not let their deaths pass like some insignificant slight in the name of commerce, for shaking hands with the Thay means that your palms will come away bloody as well.

Naethar reads one of the notices, muttering to himself. He then produces a notebook and writes down a name, grinning in satisfaction ....

Aw-... Aww! Awww! ...I -hate- kids, and even I wouldn't kill one. I mean, come on, they're too...Small!

Eir frowns at the poster a whilem then pens down a response.

It seems that they are getting away with this fairly lightly. Mayhaps more than a boycot should be considered?

A Hawk eyed figure can be seen reading the notice, frowning, taking up his blade from his side, and heading down to the docks.

I was there the day the Orphanage burned to the ground, I was there the day they attacked and I will never forget the sight of so many burned, dying and dead children.

I was among the few who managed to get inside and rescue as many children as possible, but to this day I still wake up in a cold sweat and think of those innocent lives lost.

I support this boycot and will never speak to nor trade with any Thayvian.

They should be jailed and deported.

Davaeorn reads the notice in one of the more public areas of Cordor. Sighing to himself he writes next to it…

“This is ridiculous, gold is gold. I myself have bought several items from various Red Wizards (at least I think they were) and am more than satisfied with the fine quality of my purchases. I say, to hells with your boycotting and don’t spout your ‘for the children’ crap at me. I will take their goods over that of the Mystrans any day. If you do not want to buy their goods, fine, leaves a better variety for those like us, who have a sliver of intelligence. I support the Reds for one.

Warrick takes a moment to check in with the Council to be certain of their position on Thayvians, confirming if it is their will to see Thayvians deported or no on discovery.

Tauronemhet is seen striding about Djedet slapping the guards into wakefulness, if the Thay are forced out no doubt they will come through the cursed portal to find a way home.

A formal proclamation is made by the government of the Commonwealth of Cordor. It is posted sparingly in a few places, but when the City of Commerce speaks, there are many who bend ear to listen and repeat what they've heard.

Citizens and Non-Citizens of the Commonwealth,

The Commonwealth of Cordor continues to mourn the loss of those children lost to the Thayvian arson of the Orphanage. Our own late Minister of Law Hector L. Carton put the Thayvian Nation on trial in absentia, as the far distant country chose not to respond to our demand for defensive representation in our courts of law. All evidence provided, some of which has remained unpublicized for the safety of and sensitivity towards those families who suffered a loss in the arson, clearly implicated the nation of Thay in the arson and has resulted in the current approach to Thayvians discovered within the Commonwealth: arrest, temporary quartering, and deportation. The Commonwealth understands that each individual Thayvian does not have the direct blood upon his or her hands for the arson; and as such, the Commonwealth graciously refuses to execute those of Thayvian nationality, instead adopting deportation as the standard.

The Thayvian known as Valkin speaks in defense of his countrymen without the proper authority ceded by the nation of Thay; we have our own line of communication open with the country that has remained dormant. Although his rogue attempts to open a clear cut and closed case may be noble, the fact remains that his propaganda merely offers suppositions and raises academic questions without providing any direct, hard evidence that exonerates the Nation of Thay. A letter of the Commonwealth's intent to deport all Thayvians found within the confines of the Commonwealth has already been sent to the Nation of Thay after this most recent resurgence of propaganda that is, I am afraid to say, wholly insensitive to the people of the Commonwealth, in particular those who suffered the loss of their children in the fire.

We hereby politely ask that all propaganda from those Thayvians seeking to be heard come to an end in the interests of our people. To speak as they do about the arson is to defile the memory of those young innocents we lost. There will be no intent to open any kind of dialogue with those Thayvians who have hence made an effort to defend acts of terrorism and the heinous crime of child murder.

A copy of this letter is translated into Elven: written in both common script and Espruar; given to Vilmandel in the inner sanctum of Winya Ravana, and Naerth of Oakmist Vale, for dissemination into their respective communities by a Midnight-Blue Cloaked Wizard.

In each translation, the Thayvian Red-Wizards are referred to with an elven term of utmost contempt, perhaps even a vile term of profanity. But a term that is most applicable and translated true to the original intent of the letter.

Literally translated as "Power-Mad Thayvian Not of the People".

Tharchion Valkin mulgin is in passing and sees this new notice, already holding a letter from the court of the commonwealth stating something far different he just chuckles, reading on he.

Valkins face turns a lite shade pink, his blood boils, " what lie's are these, i have a official letter form Thay stating my main obligation is to ensure that thayvians can walk free again"

Continuing his walk shaking his head he think's of how interesting this hearing might actually be should the commonwealth actually come threw with it, seeming they have a few witness and vital information that would at the very lest prove that the government that did place the ban at the time was corrupted and unlawful, not to mention the fact that the duke wasent even the duke.. who knows for how long.

I already know the corruption of Cordor and slowly I am finding out this corruption goes deeper than any expect, even to the Tower of Mystra. I personally read the note that the traitorous Weave Knight was trying to barter with condemning her ex-commrades in arms, if I wouldn't have read it myself I would not have believed it. I'm not tossing out accusations that have no litererary base just stating the facts, you can find it in the archives of the Amian Recorder you just have to open your eyes take off the blinds and look. How can someone use a childs ashes to write one single letter this is a bit unerving within itself. Use your heads all who read this and dont be swayed by propaganda or rumor.

Through the Investigation of the Office of Inquisition the Eternal Order has been tasked by the blessed Church of lord Kelemvor to erradicate the threat of the Thayvian Conclave. I write to pleas that you take a step back from your chair for a moment however high up it might be as you gaze out over all of us below you under your superior judgement.

I put it to you that such claims that have been listed below hold no claim to my Red Wizard Cabal, we are in-fact different individuals that have nothing to do with the individual that were perhaps responsible for suhc acts as you have listed.

Secondly you have no proof other than a wild accusation, i fear that this constant hounding for Thayvian blood and justice is once again a poor attempt at striking at Thayvians in a prejudiced manner.

Upon comming across one of the postings by the red wizard's Valkin, an animated quill begins to write in flowing green script. A man in rather ornate verdant and cream robes stands watch, the stitched pattern-work of leaves and fronds in his garb seem to sway and move, as if affected by the breeze.

The Mystran Monument's guild members have enacted a ban of the use of black necromantic ritual. Study of knowledge is not forbidden, applying it beyond theoretical uses is.

It is widely known that Thayvian enclaves about Toril employ drow, slavetrade, binding of the souls of enemies, and other forbidden and taboo practices by civilizations the world over.

When there is the same reason, then the law is the same, and the same judgment should be rendered as to similar things.

Word begins getting around to the citizens of the Commonwealth that a new petition has begun. The amount of names that were placed upon the petition to banish Lolthlite drow from Cordor permanently still fresh in their memories, the citizens stop by this notice that has names growing upon it.

And they do so far more courageously than they did with the petition to ban Lolthlites.

"The Lolthlites made our lives miserable, but the Thayvians killed out children and tried to steal our souls!"

"Not just ours, neighbor! They do this all over the world! It is only a matter of time before they make a bid to slap us all in chains and cart us off to Thay to work the salt mines!"

"Never, the Guard would surely protect us!"

"Yes, but we can protect ourselves by signing our names to this. Stand together, common and united in our goals!"

"Indeed!"

And on that first day, 150 names are scrawled upon the surface of the parchment at complete random. A Mage Guard eventually makes his way over to the poster that has inadvertently become a "petition", and takes a post at it to ensure it is not tampered with.

Upon noticing the common folks' flooding of what has become a petition from out of no where, Eir, dressed in fine and enchanted clothing, steps over among them, calmly waiting his turn to sign the parchment while doing his best to strike up conversation on the matter. He would agree to the general oppinion shared among the commoners, and do so in a way allowing anyone to hear him clearly. When he finally gets to the petition, he signs it with a smile on his lips, and a firm nod.

Taking out some ink makes she a line through the Wear's and scribbles Where's instead into the place.

"Now it looks neatly." she comments with a happy nod before writing her own name under the list.

Rubbing her chin takes she out some more parchment and puts it under the posts, writing with another ink:

"The sins of the fathers carry on to the sons. What has been done can not be undone.
If these accusations were wrong, let there be righteousness and let the Kelemvorites judge you.
If you are indeed deemed innocent you have nothing to fear."

*As the petition goes around it reaches the eye's of Calin Katar, War Knight of Tempus. He looks at the names, and scowls as he see's the signiature of Pier's. However, he reads over the proposal carefully and sighs to himself*

The Consulate of Tarkuul refutes these claims that the Thayvians are working in any regard with the Living City.

Quite the opposite, in all truth. Just recently, these Thayvians attempted to coerce our Consulate into an alliance by offering the Living City the plans of the Banites. Then, they stated they had additional information on credible and immediate threats to the Living City, but to receive this information the Consulate must immediately agree to an alliance.

Their intent speaks for itself. When our Speaker asked for documentation proving they were legitamite and legal representatives of Thay, we were informed they did not have such yet.

We have yet to be provided with such documentation.

In accordance with this, the Living City stands with our neighbor, the Commonwealth of Cordor, and states the Consulate has no official relations with these Thayvians.

We are a city of Knowledge, and our Laws prohibit any actions upon those who come seeking such knowledge, and as such our Consulate will convene shortly to determine if these individuals will be added to the list of Enemies of Tarkuul.

"Stop living in fear you ignorant morons. The relics that were created in the Thayvian forges still to this day exceed in power anything developed by the Mystran bastards you're so willing to stand up for. By banning these secret's you're giving the enemies of Cordor, and the Isle itself, weapon technologies and arcane secrets that surpass your own.

To knock some further sense into your pathetic one-sided views, competition in an economy is good. The Mystrans have been unopposed in their dominance across the Isle and can charge whatever the feth they wish because, like brainless sheep, you all go with the flow and don't argue. The fact that you deny trade defies the doghma of Waukeen but do you care about that? No, you're too blinded by your clouded judgement to even consider how it harms others.

Hence I propose that all arcanist feths who have the inability to think things through because they're too blinded by Mystran propaganda and consequences of their fling spell approach, should in future shut their traps and let people make their own decisions. You're the reason why this isle stagnates, why inflation is so high and why the children in that orphanage were burnt alive in the first place.

Those children are dead for the same reason this petition was made, a petty stab from a lowly jealous pro-Mystran supporter against an opposing threat. Do not pretend you as an arcane wielder make this world a better place; Mystran, Thayvian, Velsharoonite... you're all the same. You just cause the deaths of those who do not deserve to die.

Let people make their own decisions on what they want. Do not force what YOU want on them.

Weston works quickly to tag notices on any instances of the letter he can find knowing Jack's reputation from the Temple, and that not everyone may be aware the current status of clergy.

As a Salandran, I have more reason to hate the Thayvians more then any of you. As an Acolyte of the faith, I witnessed first hand that atroscity and saw the remains of the charred corpses of those children under Salandran care. Like their Salandran carers, they were pulled into a conflict that they should not have ever been a part of.

Those children did not deserve to die.

But the doghma of my deity is very specific: I am to offer my medical aid to any and all who require it, without prejudice regardless of race, religion or profession. To hate someone is an act of prejudice and defies the very first oath I swore to my deity. The Temple Mother herself once explained to me that all can be redeemed and forgiven and that the actions of a few should not judge the whole which is why we as Salandrans still offer our medical aid and assistance to those who summon forth the undeath where others such as the Triad and the Kelemvorites would execute without second thought.

As such, I can forgive the Red Wizards for their horrendous crimes because the work of my deity comes before my own prejudices. The real question is, can you weak willed fools grow some balls and do the same. The fact you are instilling propaganda and hatred back into the populace by palming around the remains of the dead who have the right of eternal rest not only defies any attempt of humanity you're trying to portray, but you're fueling prejudice that will cause problems in the long run.

The fact that you deny trade defies the doghma of Waukeen but do you care about that? No, you're too blinded by your clouded judgement to even consider how it harms others.

Hence I propose that all arcanist feths who have the inability to think things through because they're too blinded by Mystran propaganda and consequences of their fling spell approach, should in future shut their traps and let people make their own decisions. You're the reason why this isle stagnates, why inflation is so high and why the children in that orphanage were burnt alive in the first place.

Those children are dead for the same reason this petition was made, a petty stab from a lowly jealous pro-Mystran supporter against an opposing threat. Do not pretend you as an arcane wielder make this world a better place; Mystran, Thayvian, Velsharoonite... you're all the same. You just cause the deaths of those who do not deserve to die.

This has nothing to do with free trade. This boycott is more so a way for the people to voice their concerns about an organization that has a history of using others to their own selfish advantages. Their fault lies in the fact that they are unable to heed the feelings of the people that they themselves are flooding with propaganda.

It matter not what the Mystrans say. What should matter most to the Thayvians and their sympathizers, is that it is the voice of the people that calls out for them to be stopped. They will never forget how the Orphanage was burned. And I call you a bastard for putting blame upon anyone but the Thayvians for the deaths of those innocents. You may point blame wherever you wish but fault always lies with the perpetrator.

The fact that the writer of this note has the audacity to call the people of the Commonwealth of Cordor "morons" is proof enough that the collective "YOU" do not truly understand the feelings of the people upon who's lands we are guests. If you understood the transgressions of adventurers who feel that they are entitled to do as they please, then maybe you would be better able to understand the trepidations of the populace to welcome back an already questionable group of people.

You complain. You gripe. And you insult the proud people of the City which you day after day pay homage to with your purchases and sales. If you do not like the way in which they try and protect their people, then their answer will probably be plain and simple. "Get out." And it would be the same answer from me. You do nothing but hurt relations between adventurers and the proud people of Cordor. They have suffered enough.
