But, if you must change the brown sue to threats from the goose

, I say go with a dark gray or a dark greenish-blue. I know you're probably thinking "dark greenish-blue?!?!?!" But it would look good in a very very dark shade, trust me. I tried it. They both look good. See:

Only issue with my browser is the new sidebar doesn't stay on the side as you scroll down.

Yush, it's all one page now. Frames suck, especially with applications where you have to login. You'll also notice the player count doesn't change by itself now. You got to refresh the page to check the latest numbers. Cuts down on database access, as a lot of people just leave their browser running without even looking at it, which currently generates a constant stream of useless queries.

It always annoyed me how the bar auto-refreshed. Good work Disco.

Though I must say you choice of background image is interesting. Should we choose something a bit more... you know, attractive? 1) Is there a way to remove the sidebar from the forums?
Before the update you could watch them without having the sidebar visible.

2) they seem a LOOOT slower at the moment...

I had a PHP error when logging in. Then it claimed I had the wrong login and password, but it apparently logged me in nonetheless.

K, will have a look at it. Got called away when I hit the "change it" button.

Amia Messenger is under Varia now. No need for the garish button down the bottom.

I suggest you remove the original sidebar Disco. It makes the pretty new website look wasteful and yuck.

Every few reloads its been giving me some things in the sidebar that it shouldn't be giving me.

Same for me. Weird. It's a bit hard to figure out what it is, though. Will look at it later.

While you're at it, can you hack the base forum arrangement so that the forum admin panel appears at the 'sidebar', too?

Rather not, it's kinda deep into the phpBB code, and you don't need it that often.

When I scroll down the picture of Igor 'fragments' and get's spread over the whole length of the bar in little chunks. Any idea on why this would be happening?

Render problem in the browser. Which one do you have? Try to use another one for reference, btw. See if both do the same.

firefox has no issue with the igor picture for me, however the forums seem to be a bit slower.

Hmmm, I just got both sidebars up at once. The old one on the far left, next to that the new one and everything else was new.

I had that earlier myself though I no longer seem to have that issue.

Probably a cache thing or something then.

Internet Explorer is notorious for rendering standardised code in strange ways. I got nothing major against MicroSoft, but they simply do some things against international standards and the results are there for everyone to see.
