*a note is left for the person running the event*
And what, exactly, are the limitations on combat? Anything? Nothing? No stunning? No mind effects? No hiding?

Interested parties who have signed up are sent the following letter. Attached to it is a blueprint of where the tournament is to be held.
The rules of the tournament are as follows:
-Each pair will start off at their respective blue or red circles.
-There will be no preparation before hand.
-When both teams are ready, a signal will be given upon which the battle commences. The teams can then choose to employ their tactics; be it rushing down, preparing the battlefield or strengthening themselves with the Weave.
-As of now, no tactic nor instrument is banned or forbidden. It matters not whether teams wish to employ the aid of summons, revive their comrades whilst in the battle or use the natural terrain to corner sneak.
-Teams may not leave the crouching lemur monastery without forfeiting a round.
-A duo wins a bout when the opposing team forfeits or is unconscious.
-The first team to win three bouts will proceed on to meet the other victorious teams.
Be sure to plan well ahead and good luck.

Underneath it a symbol of Shevarash would be present.

A black-haired elf maid, in dull obsidian armour, stares at the notice before ripping the symbol from Kell's notice and leaving a terse note of her own.
If you prevent His clerics from doing His work, don't dare to use His symbol later, Kell Ap' Morgan. Work for your own god. Calia Priestess of the Night Hunter

*Fliers are constantly spread around the isle, tacked against signposts or prominent locations. With the recent batch, an addition can be observed*
-Teams will be sent a copy of the rules and informed of their pairings and date of battle after the registration ends.
// Instead of catering a timing for, say an example- ten teams. I actually thought it might be more feasible to split it up into team vs team timings. Far easier to sync the timings of just two teams after all.
My hours are very flexible atm so dont worry! ^^
Tentatively, Im hoping to close the registration a week or two after the date this was first posted. Then start up pairings, promotions, bettings etc. Just hoping to get a decent pool of ppl, so sign up and dont worry of the timing! Itll be fixed between you, your team mate and the two other fellas.

Torin sighs, and on a notice in Wharftown, circles the word "Tyrans d'Or" and writes "Banites" next to it.

A letter arrives from the Cordor Orphanage, but eventually becomes public knowledge, not through postings that litter the streets, but through word of mouth alone. Even the exact wording is on the lips of gossip hounds on the streets.
To Tyrans D'or, Advertising:
Although the Commonwealth Orphanage is pleased to have been considered for a benefit opportunity, we politely request that our name be removed as a beneficiary of this sale. Thanks to donations given in the past by anonymous individuals and the tender love and care of the people of the Commonwealth, our Orphanage has enough to guarantee quality care and primary education to orphaned children for a generation or more. We have already secured our future diligently.
I do not wish it to seem as though we are ungrateful. We are not. But we assume the management of Tyrans D'or is unaware that the majority of peoples who will engage in this tournament will be adventurers, a community that you must be well aware has, countless times, attempted to rob the Orphanage, to terrorize not only our children but the people of the Commonwealth, and even, as I have been told, adopt our children with the intent to eat them. I am aware how horrible that sounds, but we had this confirmed shortly after the Commonwealth was established, and it accounts for the Ministry of Health and Public Welfare's very dramatic alterations in our adoption standards and policies, including detailed background checks and, most recently, the possession of a Certificate of Citizenship in the Commonwealth.
In addition we have been made aware that Tyrans D'or, or "tyrant store", is a front for the Church of Bane. Banites are still welcome to walk in the Commonwealth due to the purpose they serve, but at the Orphanage we have made the unanimous decision that accepting support from the Church of Bane would be inconsistent with our overarching goal to supply the children with a positive future, or at the very least, an environment to shield them from their already fearful abandonment. We sincerely hope this is no insult, and there is no need for you to make a dramatic announcement, but we cannot in good conscience accept money from adventurers, or from other persons who would sooner see our children on the slaver's auction block or on the dinner table than in our tender care.
Sincerely,
Perseverence

*Calin hears of the message from the orphanage while sitting in the nomad, drinking heavily in a very uncharaistic manner, he slams his gauntleted fist hard against a wooden surface, sending splinters flying. He begins to talk rather loudly.*
Damn this city! Damn Maximillian! Damn the Bloody Cordor Guard and Damn this bull against Adventurers. They have all forgotten that while adventuerer's have caused ill, they have also protected the city, helped the people, and been the cause for numerous good in the world.
*He scowls and rises from the seat*
These people think the Red Wizards left the island originally because of them and their guard. Bah. They left because of the wrath of good hearted adventurers, not a bunch of powerless rabble. Gods wonder why I even bother to protect these people anymore...
*He storms off, out the door, almost tearing the hinges from the door in his anger. He can be seen by residents of Cordor ranting drunkenly from nomad to gate, and beyond.*
