I am seeking to rebuild the bridge across the mirmir river that was destroyed as a part of our struggle against the beast known as Mylthar. With his final defeat, the time to rebuild has come.

Seeking suppliers to provide the materials.

Contact me if you can supply me with any of the following. The price shall be agreed upon.

-500 wooden planks
-200 wooden logs
-200 bricks
-50 mortar
-50 marble

We shall also require gold to fund and pay for the project. Contact me if you would be willing to offer a donation.

A short, simple note scrawled across one of the notices, signed in something red.

You're not worthy of being remembered.

-TEMPEST

Another notice is similiarly vandalized, similiarly signed.

Go hang yourself.

-TEMPEST

And, of course, a third.

Others may have forgotten, but I haven't.

I suggest the same project, but under the title "Victory Bridge" and controlled by Kempo of Kempo's.

I, Asterion of the Whitehorns, pass through the wreckage of Minmir Bridge often enough that I too have decided to embark on a personal project to try and rebuild it.

Lady Eldainia had counseled me to find you regarding the Minmir bridge reconstruction. I have studied carpentry, stone masonry, and engineering. Perhaps we could combine our efforts to rebuild the Minmir Bridge faster.

Regards,
Asterion of the Whitehorns

*Upon this particular, deep in the morning, when the mists naturally rises from the Forests and plains of the Isles, a smaller bog of fog might have been seen moving, seemingly drifting of it's own accord to engulf this reply within its murky depths.

A green globe of light could be faintly seen on occassion from within until the mist seems to simply dissapate and the following note is left in non-descript calligraphy*

Atleast we did more than argue and then slay each other to impress the girls.

Feeling no need to hide the fact, Earylduil, casually, makes a notation;

You've done enough. No one wants your help. You're just a pathetic cretin of a dhaerow grasping at straws for some amount of 'forgiveness' for his consistent, destructive, reckless, and outright selfish actions.

If it's going to be rebuilt, it'll be done by those who do so not for the glory, or for the self gratification of having a "Memorial Bridge" in our name; but for the purposes of moving forward as a community.

Stick to what you're good at; screwing your girlfriend. Oh. That's right. You killed her.

The ironic thing is, they would actually get it done instead of wasting time arguing over petty grudges. It was not untill I turned to them that we actually made progress.

This is why Mylthar was able to do so much harm to begin with, because none of you could get off your arse and actually face the threat, and instead took the easier route of finding someone to blame.

You spend weeks arguing, pointing fingers, thinking of ways to punish me, and actually hindering my efforts to defeat the foe. For being ''the good guys'' you can't really work together for a cause. Several people were responsible for Mylthars rising. While I spend my time actually trying to resolve the situation, the others could only worry about their posts, saving their image, attempting to shrug of responsibility so they would get away as innocents.

If the time you spend on trying to get me on trial and punish me would have been spend actually fighting, we would not have a bridge to repair at all.

*Upon reading the several messages left on Valas' notice, Asterion removes his earlier letters on the notices. He then heads back to the bridge and ponders what he'd do next.*

Maybe I had been too hasty, I should learn more about this sir Valas more and the circumstances of the destruction of the Minmir bridge itself before I commit to helping this man. If need be I would go about this rebuilding without sir Valas's help or abandon it altogether if the locals do not want it rebuilt.

Orwais spots the notice when being on a patrol near the hamlet of Uhm. Frowning gravely he adds a small notice in his usual neat elven script.

Dhaerow.
I swear by the Seldarine that I will oppose you entering the lands of Myth Winya Ravana. You have caused enough destruction as it is and we do not have a wish for further. Cause misery somewhere else. All others willing to offer aid to the rebuilding of the bridge should either make contact with the Winyan Council or the Triadric Knights.

May The Elf-Lord's gaze be our shield against the corruption from beneath.

*A note is put up*

The only one who tried to get away as innocent was you, Valas. The rest of us faced our trials and let others decide if we were to be punished. No one shrugged off responsibility except -you- so stop spreading even more lies about the situation to make yourself look better.
What happened was a mistake, but you are the only one who never showed even the slightest remorse, and instead acted like you were the center of the world.
Will you ever grow up and take responsibility for your own actions?

Take responsibility for my actions... like trying to fix the mistake by actually fighting the thing, while the rest of you wasted your time by holding hunts and trials?

Take responsibility by trying to rebuild what was destroyed in the struggle?

Guess I could do that... oh right, I did just that. Never mind.

Were you trying to fix the matters, you'd do it yourself; Not petition everyone else to do all the hard work for you. Such as collecting the resources and earning the gold.

Also, you make the assumption no one else was fighting. Perhaps we simply aren't so arrogant and self-righteous as to need some public display to perform an action.

Just as you apparently need public acceptance to support the fixing of this bridge. Funny how you claim that you're "Fixing your problems" and "Taking responsibility", when you'll back out from making the effort the moment people greet you with the disdain you deserve.

In short;

Go Cry.

"I find it hilarious that you're being so hypocritical right now, Valas. You have such a huge head. As I recall, when Mythlar was still around and intitially destroyed the bridge, you were happy and tried to make it seem like a great thing had happened because of your irresponsibility and immaturity.

And even better: You make jabs at people for not working together and not arguing and try to stir up conflict (here is funny because you're angry at people for keeping grudges against -you-) where it does not need to be and could easily be pushed aside for the sake of something greater? We just talked the other day, and it tickles me to see that you're trying to sieze the moral higher ground and try to portray yourself as selfless and willing to work past adversity and work together."

And posted beneath is a nice collage of letter clippings, probably to make a point. The final clipping at the bottom of the collage is placed ceremoniously.

"It actually looks like you're shrugging responsibility a lot -and- blaming others while griping at them for blaming you. Huh. There is a lot about you and your efforts in there, and sort of elitism that your plans were the best so you didn't need the rest of the people's (or team's?) imput and putting the other people down for not going with your ideas. Oh, and I also see some connections between when you're being most insulting and you're talking about people punishing you. Hm. Strange.

-Nevaeh.

PS: I made the parts about yourself (The me, my and I) bigger than the parts about other people. I thought you'd enjoy that."

Valas,

You are banned from the Norhtern part of the Minmir bridge area anyway, so the bridge won't have your name.
The reconstruction will be made by Kohlingen and Winya.

Written underneath the notice in two sorts of handwriting elven and common. Notices will be replaced if torn down by something.

Valas, your arrogance has no ends does it? I've kept my head mostly quiet as a Winyan Councilor but you constantly trying to blame Everyone else except you for your actions actually makes me wish to cry. You seek redemption? Do it for yourself, not for the constant defiled gratification you need to have people need and love you. I was there during the attacks, you created the problem, you needed to fix it. Instead you had everyone else to blame for none of us wanting to clean up your misjudged actions. You will not be rebuilding the bridge, someone will who doesen't crave for attention. A memorial bridge? Honestly, your sad. Your not even dead, you do not deserve to be remembered, all you've brought was death to people.

In short, you have no friends, no one wants you, leave the bridge alone.

Go ahead and build your own bridge then. None has bothered until now, though I bet dozens of folks will now that I brought it up. I don't care, never used the bridge myself.

Not helping some folks that don't want to be helped.

You never wanted to help, just wanted to make yourself a so called hero. Nobody wants to remember your name in Kohlingen or in Winya.
If you truly care about the people here, then simply stay away from North Amia.

Pinned to Valas' most recent note is a handkerchief, with the words 'For Valas' crudely sewn in. A wood elf in a deer pelt was seen putting it up.

*Lethia chuckles as she watches everyone vandalize Valas' notices*

Why can't anyone just let go of the past and think about the future instead? Why do old mature people hold grudges like a bunch of teenagers? You people, looking down upon a dhearow for his mistakes doesn't make you any better. Like the people of Winya has been making the forest worse from their hunting, like the corrupt Cordorian Guards, and how the druids of the Grove are stubborn and uptight, no one gives a damn. The damage has been done, he has suffer, you have suffer. Worry about other things now. Perhaps all of you should grow up as well. A man is just simply wanting to help restore a bridge, why can't you just accept it or deny it? Quit the seven year old kiddy fights.

*she leaves an imprint of her own on a green-leafed parchment with most elegant cursive writing*

Signed,

Jhaelryna sees one of the notices as she passes by in the dark, away from prying eyes. Upon seeing that it is an attempt to rebuild a bridge that would aid Kohlingen, she decides to have a shot herself at throwing a hammer in the works.

In perfect elven, she writes on the sign:
All elves that have written here are Vyshaan.

With that, she returns to her business, disappearing back into the darkness. Behind her a deeper and far more ominous darkness hisses and turns to follow.
