A neatly written letter arrives in the hands of those indicated in a black and silver envelope sealed with a black rose seal. Upon opening the envelope, the following text can be found:

"Ladies and gentlemen to whom it may concern,

It has come to my attention that the Theater in Cordor has been exposed as a center of haunting. As it so happens, I am adept at dealing with the deceased and especially, the undead. My profession and trade is that of a death singer. Through my ballads, I can beckon to the heartstrings and minds of the deceased and become in-tune with their plights, understanding and empathizing with their needs and desires.

Should you require my services as a deathsinger, you need merely send me missive via Speedy's Delivery Service.

Jareth Steel"

"Dear Sir,

I appreciate your concern over the matters at hand, though I am afraid most of what is heard on the street is rumour and exaggerated stories. You are more than welcome to investigate the matter for yourself, following our upcoming final showing of "Songs On The Water", after which the Company will take a brief hiatus to audition and rehearse for a brand new run. And even if your search for a supposed spirit comes up fruitless, perhaps you can put your songstyles to use in an audition, while you're in the area.
