Svensk: depends on the god. Most gods and cultures would find that dishonorable. However, I can see a few paladin orders employing such means, the Knights of the Shadowy Cloak particularly. They still wouldn't assassinate you from behind without warning, but after the duel's on, I don't see why it would be dishonorable.
There are also prestige classes like 'Shadowbane Inquisitor' (In The Complete Adventurer, pg 68?), a brand of paladin who often takes a few levels of rogue to better understand how the seedy underbelly of society works, so that they may better root out injustice and corruption. If memory serves, that PrC also increases sneak attack damage. I could be wrong.

Good stuff. Also, in Champions of Valor there are the Yondallan paladins of the Wayward Wanderers, who focus on stealth.

Grayguard is a bunch of fence-sitting bollocks, IMHO. Anyway, we've established that there are a few PrC's and concepts that welcome a rogue/paladin with open arms.

Grey Gaurds are teh awesome sause.
It's the whole concept of "What are you willing to do to make sure Good wins in the end?". None of this cliche fancy pansy "I am a pious knight, pure as the driven snow and [insert blind ideals]". Grey Gaurds are willing to go to hell themselves to help the church reach goals in a way it couldn't within its traditional morales.
Think of them as Batman. They have a code of conduct(Lawful) and they're utterly commited to seeing that the right thing wins in the end(Good), even if it means cracking a few skulls or slapping around a few people. It's not as simple as "I'm a paladin with not restrictions". That's bollocks. It's "I'm paladin-like, but my code let's me bypass the traditional means." A Grey Gaurd can still get in trouble if he randomly slaughters, hurts or abuses folk for absolutely no purpose.

Batman is every alignment and is so rigidly bound to his own twisted sense of morals that he's a better example of a Paladin than a lot of other superheroes.
Greyguards are lame-o as a class, but not as a concept.
The Shadowbane classes in Complete Scoundrel are cool.

Regarding Speedy's messenger service:
I know of the office in Cordor, but is that where they are based out of?

Okay, im going to throw this out because i've heard alot about it recently and want to know where the source for it comes from:
Moonweed
I know is used as a contraceptive, but i'd like to know how and why. Where does it come from, and what are all the properties of the herb.
(I ask beacuse im a lore freak like that)
I've looked up and down the forums and found nothing. (doesn't mean its not there i may just have missed it)
Any point to anywhere with information about it would be awesome, thanks!

I couldn't find anything on that in particular, and think it's just a generic fantasy herb.

Actually, the "lore" from it comes from one of the NPC conversations that randomly pop up in Cordor. There's one that mentions a woman getting moonweed from the witch in the forest, and how her "parents never even knew." The exact phrasing leads to the indication it's a contraceptive herb, though I can't remember the exact wording currently.
I also used it for a while for an NPC I made specificly to mess with people who looked like they were getting ready to cyber. He'd suddenly burst in and try to sell them some.

You evil, EVIL man! Anyway, to bump my old question: Quote: Other than the spells featured in NWN(FW, GMW, TS, BS, perhaps even Tenser's), what are some other melee-enchancing Arcane spells in PnP?
This evil DM here told me of Heroism(and how it'd nevah evah be allowed), but I'm still looking for other ones. Preferably on the upper echelon of spellcasting, like level 7+ spells.

Tormak is an entity that exists outside the realm of gender, time, and a number of other things.
Actually, specifically melee related, or sword related might be good too. I think there's something mentioned about bladerite spells, but those are just like ritual stuff to keep people from using them without proper credentials. Looking for something offensive.

Anyone know of any specific large dwarven underground cities?
Saw someone playing DA:O this weekend and Orzammar looked pretty neat. I figured FR has something like it.

I'm not so good with Dwarven lore, but I would imagine the Cold Lands is probably the most likely to have Dwarven cities. Especially near the Vaasa area. Big Dwarven cities aren't very common anymore though, if I remember correctly. Dwarven populations started to fall drastically until recently, with the Thunder Blessing.

Well, the populations have been on the rise for a good while now, the children of the Thunder Blessing are only finally growing up to adventuring age (in our time, some ten years ago).
But yeah, there aren't many underground kingdoms anymore. Several holds and fortresses, though. What are you looking for, exactly? What dwarven race, where? There's Mithral Hall, Citadel Adbad, Great Rift (which is mostly surface, though), Deep Hold or something, etc. A bit hard to find info in one place, though. You'd do better looking at a specific region.

Yeah, Xavi's spoken about it before (which I think is where CatInBox heard it).
In fact, I've been thinking of requesting a new item creator for Xavi that produces 'moonweed' as one of the options, though I have a feeling DMs wouldn't allow this if it were going to be sold as a contraceptive herb. Or am I thinking too PG-13?

A quick conundrum:
How exactly do you go about RPing a character with low Dex(-1 mod) and very high reflex(relatively)?
My current thinking is the character has very quick reflexive motions (quickly dodge, jump tumble, maybe flip out of the way), but could not perhaps do the stunts on "purpose". As in ask them to do a backflip and they're like "Er....*fail*" but throw a fireball at them and nature kicks in and they're WHooSH. Any input?

Play them like a prey animal, eternally jumpy, so jumpy it makes them jump into things, trip, etc. They may dodge the fireball, but slam their head into the wall.

For example the Rashemi barbs are a cultural/tradition thing, for others it's just a matter of training and personal calling I'd say, easy enough.

how does one train to become barbarian? I'm looking into rping it instead of just taking barbarian levels. Is there a certain code one should follow, special training, or just natural result of the unity of simple life and raw forces of the area?

It's more of a cultural/natural thing. There's no across-the-board training for a barbarian, no "code" beside what the barbarian is raised to believe is "honorable"(if anything at all), so it's pretty much your last example there. Brutal Nature/Culture + Physical Ability + Time = Barbarian.
My character that was barbarian became one at a young age. After being orphaned he joined a group of bandits in the wilderness. Fighting every day(helping to rob caravans), lack of civilivation, lack of formal education, living off what he could kill or gather = Barbarian. That's just my example.

No more than you have to join a Thieve's Guild to "become" a Rogue.
It might help and make for a good background, but it isn't a dire requirement. My barbarian likely would have become one on his own just by being in the wilderness whether he joined the bandits or not.

If you really want to get a book, I'd recommend "Deities and Demigods". It's a 3.5 supplement book, and you can probably find a PDF of it somewhere, I'd be careful about browsing torrent sites for them, though.
However, it may be easier to check the AmiaWiki entry here.
[[Edit:]] I just checked my copy of Deities, and it actually doesn't contain info on the FR deities. Just the standard, the Pharaonic and the Asgardian. I'd go with the wiki page.

Question: I've been thinking up a new character and want him (or her) to be a cleric of Shevarash, but I'm having a hard time digging up any real information on him. I already tried the FR wiki and they didn't really help much. Anyone out there got something else they can toss my way?

That should be a lot of it right there.
And as a heads up, if you're making an anything of Shevarash, be prepared for PvP, or possibly a lot of hostile RP. His whole big deal is pretty much to destroy, kill, and weaken the Drow. And even for Eilistraeen drow, a cleric is likely just to be able to tolerate them. At most.

Probably Lemur (Amia homebrew, of course) or Sun Soul (Lathandrite/Sunite/Selunite, often), those come to mind. Also possibly any orders that venerate the Triad, since Kholingen isn't too far off, like the Yellow Rose (I think they're Ilmatari). The Sharran Dark Moon order might be possible as well, or the Loviatan Order of the White Rod. I'd think the Old Order might fit as well, given they're largely neutral.

Makes sense.
Do any of those styles have a good description of the general method they use if they have to fight/defend themselves?

How does a Medium Sized Dragon grow a tail or Wings; honestly?
They are; according to DnD Stuff not equipped with wings or tails... Well, at least not wings.
Quote: A half-dragon that is Large or larger has wings and can fly at twice its base land speed (maximum 120 ft.) with average maneuverability. A half-dragon that is Medium or smaller does not have wings.
I've seen ...One or two Half-Dragons on the server equipped with a tail, and i wonder - What and how and w00t?

Quote: A half-dragon that is Large or larger has wings and can fly at twice its base land speed (maximum 120 ft.) with average maneuverability. A half-dragon that is Medium or smaller does not have wings. I've seen ...One or two Half-Dragons on the server equipped with a tail, and i wonder - What and how and w00t?
Not completely sure what you're asking but, not all "Half-Dragons" have wings or tails. This is true. All Dragon Disciples of lv 9 or more have wings and at lv 10 gain the half-dragon "template". Halfdragons and Dragon Disciples are not the exact same thing, as has been said numerous times.
A half-dragon would grow its wings or a tail likely he same way a DD would, however. Either researching their heritage, going through rituals, "focusing" on their draconic side, or just "growing" them over time.

They just "do" over time, in some cases. Or by giving into their draconic nature and doing more draconic things to bring out their heritage, I imagine. Like hoarding jewels, traveling to places that are known to harbor their kin, living in such places, maybe even eating the prey that their full-blooded kin do. Such would likely stimulate their dragon blood more, and cause apperances to become more draconic.
I.E., the more they act like their dragon counterpart, the more they begin to take on those characteristics.

Hum. Is it possible to activate the growth by magic and other mundane things?

Magic is considered mundane now? lol
Anyway, yes, it's likely you can grow it through magic as well. But that's what Dragon Disciple is for, you know? They grow their stuff through rituals and magic. It would make a whole lot more sense, IMO, that a Half-Dragon would grow their dragon stuff through mundane means. I mean, all of the potential is already there and "brought out". Why become a dragon disciple when you're already half-dragon, you know? At that point, you might as well be trying to turn into a full draogn.

It should be possible to activate the growth by magic. I say this not because a source book says so to my knowledge, but the general attitude in D&D that magic can do just about anything (that the DM will allow, anyway).
